  • WELCOME BACK.
Heres the next instalment concentrating on the detailing of this Large Scale De-Boers Enterprise 1701.
I would like to dedicate this episode to Ian Lawrence. One of the most experienced Star Trek modellers in the world, who sadly passed away. Without his expert knowledge and experience i would never have made it this far with this model.
Please check his website and see what great work this man did. He is sadly missed by all who knew him, and his work. Thank you Ian.

In this episode Im working through the finer details, still hammering away at the little stuff. Getting closer every day to getting it all together for the final time.
It's been a very long project, but the end results should look spectacular. Just a little MORE MORE MORE to go.
Please like and subscribe for all the episodes to come in the next couple of weeks.

      Hi andy
In regard to red foul ups it has been my experience you can neutralize it with black then paint over 😊

@@richardbailey3343 Hi there. Yes that works pretty well. The base coats i use are solvent based which is a real headache for covering red, the best way i've found is to remove the red physically with some suitable scratch paper then pop the basecoat back on. It's a pain in the butt, but once the pigment is gone, happy days. Hopefully i can get through this build without needing to resort to it. Thanks for checking the videos out Richard.

    • @APmodels

Yes indeed. I find it the best way for the small stuff.

@@APmodels Do you have a video on how that works and how to do it (if not, could you make one?)

@@wirikidor I definitely will make a "how to" video on laser cutting masking. Thanks for the prompt :-)
