Wow, that is incredibly impressive! Your attention to detail is admirable. I don't have any experience with an airbrush, and my hands aren't very steady. But if I did, I could easily see myself get lost in the insanity of perfectionism.
That is truly a stunning model.

Thank you for the kind words. I don't know about perfection, but i gave it my best shot :-). Thank you for checking it out.

Well simply awesome work and skill in abundance. I don't think I have ever seen such a detailed Motion Picture Enterprise build as this one. Simply the best.

Outstanding as usual, but you left us hanging at the very end! Were you able to get the "F P" decal lined back up without it dissolving? You had it so close, and then cut away to "please like and subscribe." It was very much like building up to a sneeze that goes away at the last second.

Sorry about that Curt. The "f" and "P" relocated nicely, so all safe and sound for now. Camera ran out of charge after that shot so i had nothing to continue the sequence with !! Thanks for checking the videos out Curt.

    Hi andy
I dont wish to labout the point but isnt thE constitution class star ship capable of saucer separation and would it not have been easier to have done the filler mod before paint.
    Regards😮😊

Hi Richard. Yes, the saucer does come away from the neck, but i didn't want to leave an actual gap, and i couldn't fill this area before i had the engine assemblies completed for alignment, as there is some visual fudging to be done with this kit. I could have filled those pesky little air holes at the primer stage, but to be honest i had had enough of filling at the time, and as i knew i needed to rework this area i just left it until now. The colour on there now isn't the final one, i tend to work towards the look im after in stages, so this is just a guide for the final hit and the weathering, which i will make a subtle separation line with. :-)

@@APmodels well at any rate its a superb build and i guess thats why its called a star ship.

I don't think the Constitution Class starship is capable of saucer separation. I think that's the Galaxy Class from TNG. I know of no example in all of Trek that said the Constitution Class was capable of Saucer Separation.

@@rileykaiseeker4294 Riley do some research and you will find that the constitution class can it just was umtilized i the original series

@@richardbailey3343 Hi Richard, I do believe to be fair to Riley here, I kind of see his point. The Refit USS Enterprise NCC 1701 was never in a series as such like the original episodes. It was in a couple of Movies, Star Trek The Motion Picture, Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan before being destroyed in Star Trek III The Search for Spock. No saucer separation of any kind shown or mentioned. Next Generation yes but the Refit, NOPE! At least not in the movies from what I have watched over the many years.
