You seem to really know your craft. I have a question for you that I hope you can answer. I have a 2021 sportsman 214 bay boat that is ice blue and white. I keep the boat under a covered carport and a boat cover. My gel coat looks pretty good with a few very light scratches. I am wanting to use a light polish to keep it looking good and then seal it with starke hyperhold sealant. I’ve been keeping it sealed with hyperhold since I bought the boat new but wanting to polish some this time before applying. My question is I know you wash with dawn before polishing the boat but do l need to wash the boat again with dawn after the polish before applying the starke hyperhold sealant. Thank you for your time and thanks for the videos. I have learned a bunch.
Great video. I am still rocking the 3401 but your videos make me want to try the rupes 21. I am definitely going to try the microfiber removal trick, never saw that before. Keep up the great work, I really appreciate all of the knowledge you share.
He said it was $650 for this 30ft boat for just the hull sides. That's pretty reasonable. A full interior/exterior detail with 3 step and ceramic would probably have ran this customer about $3000. Personally, I do all my own polishing. The equipment and products pay for themselves in one use and you have the flexibility to do a section at a time.

Yes! You don’t want anything between the sealant and the hull. Any compound, polish or wax will cause it to fail prematurely as it doesn’t bond!

Great video Michael. How many polishing pads did you use for both sides of the hull?
How much do you charge for something like this. How much by foot
Do you wash the boat after compounding or just go right into waxing?
Awesome work I just used the same products and got great results on my boat
I do mobile detailing I have a few customers wanting their stuff done what is a good price range for that?
@@marinedetailsupplyco.-tamp3457 both I’m in atl GA on a lake called lake Lanier
You washed between Elevate and Hyper Hold, yes?
Got it, thanks for your reply.
Boating season soon to start here in Norway🏆
@@marinedetailsupplyco.-tamp3457 I also thought you had to wash b4 wax, stop the wax or sealent sitting on top of the polish?
