Michael to be 100% honest with Yoi, the reason your video is so damn good, it’s your way it speaking. Clear, just perfect volume of voice, abs perfectly calm which makes your audience calm
Would love to see product alternatives, im sure this is done on purpose, but using marketing names for products makes it so we have to use starke products. I know nothing about their products, but i dont see them for sale locally so it all this makes it hard to find comparable products
@@marinedetailsupplyco.-tamp3457 , i dont see where yall carry the hybrid wool pad anymore, even tried searching for it on site. Whats a comparable pad?
Thanks for a fabulous tutorial Michael - I know it is not as easy as it appears, but you give me at least a little confidence (but not TOO much!) to give it a go on my own boat. I can see there are four main elements - Equipment, Technique, The Right Pad and the Right Compound/Polish for each step. The thing that shocks me most about your videos however is how few views and likes you have - that is just not right, you deserve to be out there in the YT World with MUCH more recognition. I'll do my bit and hit the like and subscribe buttons.
Use a guide coat or a dye to sand. Makes it extremely easy to visually see the imperfections and it also stains deeper scratches so you can leave it perfect
What do you charge for completing a job like this? I have similar scratches on my boat and trying to get a ball park figure of paying a professional to do the job
Your should really do these videos on a black or dark boat much easier for camera and US to pick up on outcome and what gelcoat looks like as you go from 1000-2000-3000
I detail RVs and I had a call to a rig that the owner washed himself with a scotch Brite pad. Unbelievable the amount of damage he did. Luckily for him hurricane Ian destroyed his RV before I could get to it. And honestly I didn't want to do it when I have plenty of regular details to do, the last thing I want to do is compound that much square feet. People just use a mild wash and wax soap and microfiber towels and hand wash your rig.
