  • Welcome back to my channel, in this video you'll see how i make my marble candle vessel with a concrete mix that you'll easily reproduce anywhere in the world.
    Recipe of the concrete mix:
    - 2 parts casting plaster (molding plaster, casting plaster of paris)
    - 1 part white regular cement.
    - 1 part building sand.
    - Water: 2 parts (half the weight of powders).
You can ajust this recipe for your mold, for my mold it's:
    - 115gr white plaster.
    - 57,5gr white cement.
    - 57,5gr sans.
    - 115gr water.
I've ajusted this recipe and tested a lot and it was fine for me, i'm sharing it to help people all over the world, you can use it for your small business, however i'll be happy if you give me credit and share your results with me, don't forget to like, comment and share it.

Beautiful candle vessel! I am just starting a small candle store and am hoping to make my own vessels to sell along with cutting down on buying vessels for my candles. These look easy enough to make and your marble technique looks easy as well. Thank you for sharing!

the video does not show how you add sand. Or were the cement and gypsum already mixed beforehand? if I don’t understand, help me understand, since the texture you have turned out to be smooth, but with sand it will probably not be so smooth, also without sand, the figure may crack in the future. Thank you.

Cool as heck!!! So easy to give the marble look. Would make neat custom coffee mugs if they can hold hot things. Just might give that a try.

It can contain something hot but I dont recommend using it as mugs, it's made for decoration. We don't eat/drink in any thing made with cement
It may need a special sealen for the food ? don't know if that existe

Hello sis! 🌹Thanks a lot for sharing, tried it today on different molds, one succeeded and the rest were failure maybe I wasn't quick so the mixture dried a bit and since i added some water that happend. But i wonder what kind of coloring you use, because i noticed once i added mine the mix thickened maybe because my acrylic was too oily or something ? And im not sure, i used gypsum (plaster of paris) I don't know if it's the same as casting plaster.
Im not sure but will try it again thank youuu

Hello. Are you still using plaster of paris mixture? I tried this method and made about 20+ vessels. Most of them were weak and seems to break easily at some time. I also tried to put 2 parts sand, 1 part plaster, 1 part cement, but again the same. I would love to hear your feedback base on your experience about this matter

Hi there.. loved your video but being in South Africa names of things are different.. is the white Plaster the same as Plaster of Paris? Or is it something else entirely.? We do not get cementall and have not seen white cement...but may try TD to whiten.. thanks so much.

    • @emanidiy
      @emanidiy  ปีที่แล้ว

I use white cement to have this white result
As I sad in my q&a video you can use grey cement, it gives a little more solid vessel
