    Great as always !! Your less is more tip def helped .. was even able to marble with the powdered cement dye .. gonna try your cement mix next.. just had read lots of ppl had crumbling but this looks worth the test !!

      Great. I believe crumbling happens because not all cement or plaster are the same. I’ve even seen the same brands in different countries have differences. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again.

      Thanks for the comment. I usually do 3 to 1 ratio of paint to water. If that is too thin then do 4 to 1.

    I have a question, how do you mesure how much cement mix goes into any silicon vessel ?
    Keep up the good work 👍🏼💪🏻

    • @upvibecandle
      @upvibecandle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the compliment. I am trying to come up with a formula but it has taken more time than I thought. However, I basically know that a 3 inch by 3 inch vessel needs about 300 grams of ingredients (minus lid). So use that as a starting point. If it's a 4 inch go up 100 grams and you might even want to go to 500 just to make sure. Then slowly scale back each time you pour until you find your sweet spot. I actually just poured 5 various molds at the same time and with that same method had no left over waste. I hope that helps.

    Hello. Thank you for your videos. Especially for these alternatives for us who can't access cement all. I'm from Cyprus, a very small country in Europe that we don't have as much variety of materials.
    Question: 1) what kind of sand do you use and what size of sand?
    2) in this video you use more water than the other no cement all videos and the concistansy on the others are much more thicker that makes it an bit more difficult to use. Which one is more accurate and what happens if i put more water to make it bit more running?
    3)on the video with mold sizes capacity the formula you give is about cement all. Do you have a formula according to your recipes?

    Can the marble effect be achieved using cement All?

  • @shanencribbs8592

    Hi Jai. I love watching your videos. So informative. So I've watched 3 of the 'No Cement All' recipe videos including this one. My question is...in the other 'white' candle jar videos with a 300 g mixture, you use sand as the primary ingredient at 150 grams. But in this one you are using plaster as the primary at 190 grams. Can you explain why the difference? Is it due to the pigment used or a larger size mold? Thanks so much! :)

I just tried your recipe using 150 g plaster, 75 g white cement, 75 g sand & I used 80 g water. The jars are curing now. You are so correct about how fast that starts to set 😯 lol.
