😊😊😊 Gosto de coisas sóbrias! Adorei esses trabalhos! Sem toneladas de glitter, Pink, e montes de coisas que outros adoram colocar, tornando as peças muito bregas! Parabéns.
I have been using Aquacast and like others have been getting smudgy marbling. I will try your technique and it is nice to have such an informative video on this subject, thank you.
Thank you for this. I've been struggling with getting proper marbling. I couldn't figure out why I was getting tiny little ribbons and smudgey coloring. Now I understand why!!
I use Elichem products and have very recently started experimenting with Hydroflow 😀. So far I've just made a few terrazzo style coasters and one coaster where I layered the colours ( bit like dirty cup acrylic pour ). I have the Elichem sealer. It is the liquid part of the Hydroflow, I believe, and gives a soft sheen appearance to the finished piece. If using it for coasters 5-6 layers of the sealer are needed, each layer spaced 2-3 hours apart. I didn't use an electric whisk to mix Hydroflow, just a hand held whisk and a wooden stick. I did get a few bubbles but no lumps and mixture was very smooth 😀.
I have just found this video as it was on my recommended list and I'm so glad I did. I am very new to jesmonite, unfortunately I'm running out and need to order more, sadly there's a shortage, but thanks to you I have just placed an order for the hydroflow and I used your code too, a huge thank you for that. I can't wait to try it out. Needless to say, I am now a new subscriber to your channel.
You get the bubbles and lumps out by not shoving all the powder into the liquid. Put a little powder in and mix with the jesmonite blade ... slowly incorporate the powder ... done, a nice smooth even consistency.
Hi everyone, Sorry I haven’t posted anything recently but I’ve been in the process of packing everything up because we are shortly moving home. This will give me extra room to build a proper studio to work from. Soon as I’ve set up I will be posting more videos for you to enjoy and learn from. Lainey. 💕
That was incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for sharing all your tips and tricks! Hope you will be able to show us more techniques to pouring for the marble effect :)
You can buy moulds from lots of Different places. I tend to buy mine from Ali express or Etsy and you can also get them from eBay. As long as they’re suitable you can use moulds that refer to being used with resin. I hope this helps. You need to buy moulds that are made of silicone soft rubber so that you can peel it away from the cast. Pinkiemolds on Etsy do some good ones and serenity sculptures. Also Devon Dotting make moulds too.
This is super helpful! You said that you clean your stick blender in a pot of water straight away, I was just wondering if you dispose of the water down the sink?
Such a great video, I love your colour palette and patterns. I have just bought myself a beginners jesmonite kit. Can I ask where you got your moulds from? And how do you seal your items so that they are waterproof (if you want to use them as plant pots)? Thank you
Thanks for sharing your process! How did you get the yellow oxide pigment to be so runny? Mine came solidified and I've heard lots of others face the same issue.
So from watching you here, some jesmonite products are intermixable with the hydroflow? i.e you used the retarder and pigments? Thank you for this video - I'm in Australia and thinking of giving hydro a try as Jesmonite is not in stock anywhere :)
You are amazing and you explain everything very clearly and transparently ♥️. They are fabulous ❤❤

Thank you for this. I've been struggling with getting proper marbling. I couldn't figure out why I was getting tiny little ribbons and smudgey coloring. Now I understand why!!
Glad this helped. I must find time to do some more. X

How does Hydroflow and Jesmonite differ to Plaster of Paris please? I'm guessing the two former products contain some kind of polymer?
Thank you, that is great. But I am from Nigeria, please can you give me the name of the items.
please can you tell me which color you use i need it , please reply me

This is very helpful. However my jesmonite mixture turns very frothy. Why does this happen and how can I avoid this?
I’ve never experienced that with Jesmonite. Have I tried mixing like ive demonstrated on the video?

What make is the stick blender please? xx
This is super helpful! You said that you clean your stick blender in a pot of water straight away, I was just wondering if you dispose of the water down the sink?
Yes I do. I wash it down with water so it dilutes
There aren’t any chemicals in Hydroflow it’s water based. X
Really interesting thank you.
Thank you for your comment.
Hello great work i love it ✨
How can i prevent the jesmonite from hardening so fast , it start to over hardening while am in the beginning?
You need to add retarder which you can get from most places that sell Jesmonite x
Such a great video, I love your colour palette and patterns. I have just bought myself a beginners jesmonite kit. Can I ask where you got your moulds from? And how do you seal your items so that they are waterproof (if you want to use them as plant pots)? Thank you
I seal them with Polyvine Wax vanish and after that I spray the insides with an acrylic vanish for extra protection.

These are beautiful. Are you only able to use pigments to color this?
No u can use, acrylic paint or Mica. However they come out lighter, more washed out but still work perfectly well. X
