What an all-star cast for such a great movie. I'm 30, and i sure love these 30-50 movies. I am looking forward to meeting my husband and getting married to know how it feels ❤ to have lived in these times
The problem is, that's a fairy tale that never comes true, even way back then! The way we live has changed so vastly, and the stresses we deal with now are much heavier and much more complex. Our expectations are very different too. The chances are very, very slim that anyone will ever find a partner who has all the same goals and values, and will continue to do so over all of the years. In our younger years we are optimistic and we think it will happen, but as we get older we have that optimism beaten out of us by life. We become realistic, and we learn that nobody gets what they really want. Learning how to be happy with what we have, for as long as it lasts, is a skill few people have. People often think they've found the perfect partner. But over time it never fails. One or both realize that what they have is NOT what they want, and WHO they have is not who they want. Work and/or school plays a huge part in peoples' lives. The huge affect of the ups and downs can destabilize even the best relationships. It affects where and how you will live. Will you both be identical in every way with how you respond to all of those stresses? Those things cause people to become very susceptible to sexual advances by others (or to make them). In some cases that alone is enough to doom the marriage for good, whether or not one or both of them have an affair. Those things affect everyone. What about the more serious problems that can also occur, and do so when you're already stressed to the max by the normal stuff? Like accidents, illnesses, affairs, family crises and deaths? Relationships are MUCH harder than people think they will be, even if you both remain healthy, physically, sexually, and mentally. But what if you are already knocked back by 1 thing and another occurs? It does happen to everyone, and I do mean everyone! You only really learn how to do a relationship, and to see your own mistakes, once you have been through at least 1 if not 2 failed relationships, and then had at least a few years to reflect on it all, before getting into another one that might have a chance to work. You need to spend some time comparing them in your mind. Only then can you see them more clearly, and learn to beware of the pitfalls the next time. Usually nothing in life is really done well on the first 2 tries. That includes controlling your own emotions, desires, and reactions to things. And all that I've just said applies to a perfect person in a perfect world, with a perfect partner. If there are any really serious problems, like physical or mental health, or problematic friends or family members, addictions, serious incompetence with money, or a whole pile of other serious problems, then you are really in trouble! But the way it works is that you will be hit by many of life's problems at once. And your partner will rarely if ever be in the same headspace as you. You will feel alone, you will feel you are coping with it all alone for 90% of the time. And parenting adds another whole universe of stresses on top of all that, even if your children all belong to you both biolgically, and to nobody else. And even if they are all 100% healthy, physically and mentally, with no addictions, bad habits, autism, ADD, gender issues, internet addiction, video game addiction, are secretly being bullied, catfished, or blackmailed, have bad friends, or have love interests that are a bad influence on them. Who knows what other new problems will come up in the future too. Unless your partner is 100% perfect, as nobody is, the chances that the 2 of you will agree about how to deal with these are very slim. Most of the duration of any marraige is just plain hard. For most people, it's so unpleasant that no matter how much they would prefer to keep the family together, for the sake of the kids, they just cannot tolerate each other enough to actually keep living together. And maintaining 2 seperate homes for the duration of a lifetime is collosally expensive! But yet, they dislike each other's lifestyle and their quirks etc, so much that separating is still the only way they can survive with their mental health intact. And again, I'm talking about people who had no serious problems of physical, sexual, or mental health, for them or anyone around them, no serious family or money problems, etc! For people who DO have those things it's 100 times worse! The beginning can be nice, and IF people make it to the other end it can be nice to have someone to help them in their old age, BUT if anyone is thinking it will be a happy time, they need to re-evaluate. It was GROSSLY UNFAIR of our parents to keep on passing down the fairy tales about princesses finding Prince Charming, and living happily ever after! Sure they should instill some optimism, but passing on those lies (actually huge whoppers!) is actually just a very cruel thing to do. In fact, 99% of America's problems today are caused by unrealistic expectations. From cradle to grave we're fed lies about what we deserve, and what we should have. It needs to stop. The ridiculous ideas you and I were instilled with NEVER come true for anyone. And you'd think that after all these generations the mothers who were so deeply disappointed in their own marriages would finally realize how cruel it is to make your little girls believe they will get something that everybody knows is impossible. I'm sure that MANY PhD thesis have been written about that. I'm sorry I went so far off on a tangent. I only meant that you really need to reassess what you cn reasonably expect to get from marriage, because your expectations are not entirely reasonable, so undoubtedly you will be unbelievably hurt when it all goes wrong, maybe even blaming yourself, which would be very wrong and sad, because it wouldn't be your own fault at all. Marraige takes all the romance out of a relationship. Personally, I don't see any reason why a person should get married at all. It's far too easy to get married, and far too difficult to get divorced. As well as very expensive ! ! ! Only people in their 50s and older should be allowed to get married, and even then, they should be required to first pass a test, to prove they really understand what they are doing. In some ways your idealistic view of it is charming and sweet and I can't help wishing that you will find a great guy who shares it, and that you will both have many years of happiness. I really do. But society still needs to stop teaching such silly fairy tails to children, and needs to make those changes to marriage laws, so it's a lot harder to get, and so you can't get married until you are already old. You could still live with whomever you want, just not marry them until you are old enough to realize what you are doing, and who is most likely to be a good partner, if you want one at all.
@Wench64. But who is going to pay for your luxurious lifestyle? Because no man will. Only the very rich can afford to stay home. How do you propose to get so rich? By selling stuff from home? What kind of stuff? Will your hubby and your neighbors be ok with these "customers" coming around?

"Perfect". Right now IRL thousands of 🌎 most violent (Venezuelan) gangs, Tren de Aragua, were let in, no vetting, not even medical. With everything given to them, they've spread across the U.S. rapidly; already 50%+ of Americans live in areas "affected by TdE". Google that for yourself, see why there's a ranch in south Texas we bought to out-process the many tens of thousands of foreign national criminals. At the dedication ceremony Jocelyn's family spoke. She was 12. First day Bi*** got in, over 90 executive orders to break open our border. Orders to cut back production of our own energy. About 12,000,000 added in these four long years from about 170 countries, no checking for infectious diseases that 3rd 🌎 fails/refuses to prevent or treat. No background checks, no database made with eye & hand scans, DNA, voice print, photos. Gov't at top deliberately cut open and injected in everything from billions spent on foreign nationals not U.S. citizens to... like I said, Google it for yourself. Laken Riley was a student, only 20, destined to be a nurse. They're filling our schools, using the school tax billions. Recruiting in schools for members, for mules (since we're known to be even softer on young criminals). In the 50s, 60s you could have a good full life if you just did a few things. Everyone around you already had or was on track next to you. A regular citizen could achieve a home,, wife or husband,, kids,, a backyard veg garden,, a job you could depend on. You'd raise a family on one salary, Mother was there when you got home from school. The dog greets you at the white picket fence that's only high enough to keep dogs and the little kids in. There were no 6' -- 8' walls to keep criminals out, to block sight. Nobody was going to sneak into your yard, garage, and steal. No violent breaking in for drug money. The one car parked near the street, no criminals after it either. What you don't hear when people verbally att*** "boomers" is, they worked hard for dozens of years, and this "wealth" yap yap is about a minor %, like now? You rich, or your uncle, older neighbors? Neither am I, or most older people. The MSM that serves as the publicity arm of Dems, left, woke, Socialist, Comm. as the Bi*** family got millions from Comm***** Ch***, Comm***** Ru****, and - starting in 2014, Hunter Bi*** was paid huge amounts to be on the board of a foreign energy company, no qualifications. Except family connection to head of 🌎 's most powerful country. Big mil***** supply industry. U.S. gov't documented millions flowed to Bi*** family. Now "Bi***" ( some members of the team mostly out of their staged photo ops, who actually are on teams toprop up, clean up, hand out access to keep $$ flowing, to various supporters, favored suppliers). Next year expect we'll get info on where our $$ went. So H. BI*** gets Ukrainian money from 2014 on, and some team had a document ready,, from when? that Bi*** signed a few days ago. Oh, look, from 2014 through this year! Since first day of 2014 , 11 years. Unusual, say legal historians, first time to pardon a son,, and for an oddly long time.. Eleven years,, 11, Oddly specific, acomedians and analysts point out. Some will excuse actions the barely sentient yet still deceitful and grabbed one keeps doing on the way out. It's ironic that the things the current party, and their captive media, claim the Rs do, the Ds themselves do. Its December 9 right now, 42 days to go. 🌈 "Ain't nobody gonna point the finger at my KID!" said the young man shipping out.

Gretna Green is in Scotland, not the US.
Too cute❤
So, Marilyn worked with Ginger Rogers Twice ???? Did,Ginger aid Marilyn in making connections early on in her career ????
Yes, I believe she did, I actually heard that in a documentary about Marilyn once, but I can't say it 100% sure though!
Willow mattresses takes me to when I laid on my mattress for the very first time there in my 2 bed room cottage. Wow! And the lawn, the lawn was lovely! Big ups to the owner I was renting from lovely place! Terrill TC!
My picture of a white feather came in the mail during 2007-2008 that had words spiritually assimilated with it saying "you are an angel and you guys are not legally married". Terrill TC!
Tells you something that Ginger Roger’s is listed before Marilyn Monroe.
Ginger was already a star for 20 years when this film was made. Marilyn was a relative newcomer... not yet a star.
Lovely.
Klasse!
Do you think you could upload the seven year itch I can’t find it anywhere 😊

Mentioned at :36 second mark😊.
The truly good movies are from the thirties through the fifties. The further update of the trasher they got.😢
Hey, Fred Allen!!
❤
Ok I fast fwd didn’t see Marylin so she has a small role in this..
Lee Marvin was in this also.
Norville from Morgan's Creek
"Ratzki-watzki"
Very cute
And there you have it 50’s wasn’t as perfectly as it seems.😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Ain't nobody gonna point the finger at my KID!" said the young man shipping out.
Wonder World! I wonder man; am I Wonder Man? Terrill TC!
