Awww, thanks a ton. And thanks for access to the better version in your g-drive. I downloaded it. I grew up watching this when I happened to catch it on HBO which was both often and not often. You know how HBO played a set of movies for a few weeks at a time. Lol. I miss that about TV of the past. I swear I never seen the beginning of some movies until I got older and started collecting. Born in the 80's, raised by the 90's. Nothing will ever compare to that time. Waynes World and Nirvana about sums it up. That one movie where the parents got sucked up into the satellite dish in the backyard. Dwayne's Underworld.

I decided to watch this because Marilyn Monroe and Anne Baxter starred in this because of their collaboration in the briliant film "All About Eve" co-starring together BUT it was Charles Laughton and Richard Widmark who really dazzled me. Charles Laughton's religious conversion soliloqy was so elegant and tragic full of pathos. Richard Widmark completely transformed himself! The low brow accent, the hyena cackling laugh and such a thoroughly mezmerizing performance! I never wanted this movie to end - never heard of it and just stumbled across this little gem.
