You need to change that audi 5 cylinder sound though, you can do it with content manager, and actually make the James Deane S14 sound like a 1/2JZ instead of a Audi Quattro. :P

@@monkylondon Content Manager > Content > Cars > pick your car > ALT+S > Pick the car you want it to sound like.
For an example, the original Assetto Mk4 Supra, and boom, the audi sound is gone. It will still work on online servers, so no worries with that. :)

Looking sweet. Nice bit of DRM sound there. You should drift up the top part of Transfăgărășan but you will to drive the first part of the road first. Also you might want to get the Custom Shaders Patch and SOL at some time and try night drifiting.

@@monkylondon most tracks dont have a lights setup. You will need to download them for each track. In CM there are options to download them for the tracks. If you go - Settings -> Custom Shaders Patch -> Patch -> Tracks Configs (the last two are on the left side. Also please remember that CSP is still in dev and some versions work better with 3 screens than others. For instance preview 132-> 135 has bugged smoke on 3screens when using softparticals. Im on 3 screens and am testing preview 129 atm.

Awesome video, but curious to hear your opinion on how the skills transfer to real life. I have a similar full rig setup with Fanatec everything (CSW V2 wheelbase, Sparco R215 rim, CS V3 pedals, CS Handbrake, CS Shifter 1.5 and Sparco Sprint seat) and all I've ever known is this setup because I can't afford to do it IRL. I'm curious to how much the sim teaches you and how close it is to real life so that one day when I am able to do it IRL it doesn't take me as long to learn. What's your thoughts mate?

It's good bro, I learnt the basics of drift pretty much playing forza on a controller so if you've got all that then really good advantage tbh! Great hand eye co-ordination, racing lines, steering with throttle etcc so much more all good for irl

Been waiting for this - I still say you will notice a big difference IRL if you practice. That rig.......yo'ure a lucky boy. Some of those transitions were monster! From a viewer (I've nothing to say about the driving, pot kettle black and all that): Game sound up a bit, commentary down a bit if this is how you plan to streaming (as a POV, not in game with mic overlay). There's no bass or depth to it as it is now on a 5.2 amp/speaker setup and its quite droney to listen to after a few minutes with just the higher frequencies being audible (guess im a tiny % who aren't watching on a phone/tablet though). For me specifically, it was much better with the music edit-over at the end (appreciate copyright claims etc etc) as it gave my ears something else to concentrate on (plus...it's dnb!). Just some thoughts. PS. You are not a novice, and you know this to be true. Haha.
