Looks good man I'm doing the exact same swap.Im new to the mk3/2jzge na-t. I have so many questions for you..... I have an 87 mk3 7mge/auto Bought a 03 gs300 Looking at a 2jzge na-t build with a w58 from an mk2(just to get the car running and bugs worked out). What harness and ecm will you run? Piggy back or standalone? So much conflicting info out there
Very clean install man an I look forward to your progress. By any chance, who produced that 🔥 ass beat when you were on the final steps tightening the clutch?
I hate the bearer of bad news but unless you have a ppg gearset in your w58 that clutch will grenade you gearbox within seconds of any kind of hard driving. So many people have blown w58's with even stock TT 2j's and full face organic discs (trying to make the clutch the weak point). My w58 did not last long behind my 2j and I only ever rolled onto the power until one day 3rd just shattered doing a pull at about 12 psi so around 370hp. I would highly recommend getting a R154 at the minimum or a T56 magnum kit at best Also replacing that rear main seal would have been good preventive maintenance before putting the clutch and flywheel on. (I have only seen this video on this channel so unsure of your previous progress)
Dang that was an easy install. Love the videos man. Cant wait to hear it start up soon.
Lol thanks man so when you posting your 7m build? Been waiting to see it man.
Where did you get the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate to buy?
Hey man what flywheel bolts did you use and will they work with the W55?
any updates on this? hows the clutch/trans holding up to the 2j?
Nice install video bro! She's gonna be a ripper for sure!
Thanks fam. Am hoping all is well with the motor itself. But we will find out here very soon.
@@movieclips0.70kd2 I hope so too man! Have you done a compression test or a leakdown test on the motor yet?
@@TunerFaction lol nope it was pulled from a running motor. Was told it ran good. But to be on the safe side. I tired to replace everything I could.
@@movieclips0.70kd2 Nice man! Yeah I really hope she runs well for you! Only time will tell and I can't wait to hear her startup!
@@movieclips0.70kd2 🤔 lol wait he talking to me 🤣 not you.
I really hope you cleaned that flywheel surface prior to installing the clutch

I replaced all the seals including the rear. Lol let that w58 blow up. By then maybe I will find a r154 for less then 2k
Really hope you took that all back apart and cleaned that flywheel bud.
Nice vid man love it, .. where did you get the W58 bellhousing from?
Ebay. But the guy that sells them is also on one of the supra parts pages on facebook
