Neat trick with the wrench and bolt. I will have to try that with my clutch install coming up.

I went with the 1JZ Driftmotion Flywheel 19.5lb for R154/JZ Reason being the weight, Caribbean = Hills I need that RPM to not Drop when I let off the throttle as it would with a lightweight.... DriftMotion also stated "The chromoly steel we use is a much better material then the cast stock flywheel, and it will handle a lot more abuse then a stock unit."
Also went with the ARP Studs at 75ft/lbs with the supplied loctite. Actually used a Flat Chisel in one of the flywheel tooth whilst torquing it down.. Wish I knew that Wrench trick prior to installation.
For some reason I keep anticipating these videos lol.
We also did a home-made tool to remove the pilot-bearing to replace with an OEM one. Don't want to have to go back under the car when am done hahaha.

How come you didn't use the lubricant under the bolt head?

More good stuff.. Hey Scott I take it that you know about light lubing the splines on the shaft from the transmission so the clutch slides smooth. As Always keep up the great work!👍👍👍👏

Mt90 is what I have always used, accept in the v160. Also I may catch flak for this but Royal Purple I have had success with two of their products. Gear oil (rear dif) and assembly lube.

Never use impact tools when installing or removing clutch components.

I know you probably prefer to sell everything for the W58 but if you consider parting out I really need the bell housing for w58 I can't find one for a jz engine, I have mk3 Supra with the w58 trans and wana run it when I swap in the 2jz, since It will be a budget build Til I can afford a r154 swap.

@PureFunction See you at the next vid lol Clutch Install?
Oh Quick Question, in ref. to the Stock o2 sensor I have the 3 wire Non-Screw type, my Downpipe is only Screw type got any idea as to a replacement Plug & play Screw type? I got one for a "1998-2001 IS300 SC300 SUPRA 3.0L 2JZ UPPER MANIFOLD OXYGEN SENSOR" however its a 4 wire type. Plug is also slightly different on the inside...
    *Next Video Hint Hint*
Lol. Got any ideas as to 4 wire to 3 wire conversion is it safe? or any Idea as to a plug & play 3 wire screw type replacement.
anyone in the comments feel free to chip in.

Hi, which arp number is the flywheel bolt?

First of all never use red loctite on a non permanent application. One day the threads of the crank or whatever will come out with the bolt. Use blue threadlock
Second the whole point of arp fasteners is they are reusable. If you're using them one time and turfing them then what's the point?
Third you can not leave any oil on fw or pp. The burn off theory is hilarious, the clutch with absorb the oil.
I do like your wrench trick.
Use a pilot bearing for a Subaru Impreza, they're 8$ in canada at dealer.
I work at a transmission shop btw

it's because you don't have any kids that's why you don't like the snow. me and my son had a blast playing in the snow: grilling in the snow making igloos with him and his friends making a Snowman. and we were supposed to go tubing. but we were having so much fun at home there no point of going out
