Made all these trips in August 2006 all over Graubunden with the RhB from station Filisur for 1 week , we stay at hotel Grischuna . Fantastic time and great country .
Einfach traumhaft, tolle Strecke in toller Landschaft.
Another great trip. Hopefully I'll make it to that campsite on the right next year. Was really looking forward to walking on the mountains around Davos and Bergun this year
I always learn from all your info love it very much!♥ Thanks for all your work. Also the train ride is gorgeous...if we can go to Switzerland we will visit again♥ Thanks greetings from Debby
Hab dich abonniert!
Great video! A couple of questions: 1) I can never get a good look at the Landwasser River--is it flowing in the same direction the train is moving, or against it? I think it's flowing with it, but am not sure. 2) At 13:43 -- this is the first time I've seen an actual blocking device on a track (the orange half-barrel on the siding). Seriously, how effective could such a thing be against an engine? Wouldn't the engine just cut right through it? 3) Has anyone ever tallied the total value of Swiss rail infrastructure? Rails, stations, tunnels, viaducts, electrifications and rolling stock? A back-of-the-envelope calculation that I did came up with 120 to 200 trillion euros (that's US trillion, viz.: 1,000,000,000,000 = 1 trillion).
@@frankkleij9149 Yeah! There's a lot of kits available for it, most of the buildings around the station, there's even a company that makes both the Wiesener and Landwasser viaducts, although they are scaled down a bit but still around 1 meter in length... From about 18:24 till 20:11 I am planning to build, around 6 meters in H0 scale :-) And then on the other side Ill build the section before the Landwasser viaduct to close the loop...
@@yvindascanius6061 The section around Wiesen captures well what the RhB is all about, but there are too many to pick! This one is not too complex yet stunning! ill try to do it justice...
A terrifically relaxing video on a scenic smorgasbord in the Gorge. ***Please make the altitude measurements in a thicker font to make them easier to read. Thank you.***
A small suggestion to improve readability of the text overlays: If possible, add a black outline to the text in future videos. That greatly improves readability against bright backgrounds. Aside from that this is a really nice video :) More please!

Congratulations. Great video, with beautiful images and lots of information. Very good job.
Thanks:)
Excellent video. This was one section of the RhB I hadn't seen. Very scenic.
Thanks
Excellent filming. May I suggest the information text be darker against the light-grey gravel - sometimes difficult to read?
que encanto gracias por compartir el video

Estou hipinotizado pelas paisagens !! mto lindo de ver!!
Aha! That little section around Wiesen I am going to build as a model... 🤓
That model will be awesome!
complete with the Landwasser viaduct . close before Filisur you can see it down in the valley.

Könntest du mal Videos machen wo auch der Führerstand mit zu sehen ist. Das wäre super. Danke!

I'm going to use a thicker font for the next videos :)
The current in that river must be too strong for fishing.
Marty Jeruzal
Too shallow as well.
The ride is excellent, but the amount of information is too big. To the point it was distracting me from watching the ride.
Not being critical, but the fount next to the info title is too faint to read. But I still love your video's
Mhm I noticed this aswell. Next time i try a thicker font.
"Ontvoer mij dan toch" denk ik vaak...
Great filming. I would like to see less of tunnel passage; why not edit out the blackness?
Great video..... just not do many descriptions!!!! Very distracting
Fabio, just curious, are you available to select as the lokführer for a Footplate ride?
This a narrower gauge track then your other video's?
1000mm narrow gauge
No, all of the track of the RhB is meter gauge.
I would not call this canyon wild and romantic. I would call it rugged and beautiful.
I am jealous of the guy relaxing there on the bench at 19:01! although I would probably be drooling all over that Capricorn ... :-D
