  • Tune in, as I look back in time at the role of fermented foods and the unlikely use of animal excrement, in shaping our understanding of probiotics, and their use for enhanced longevity, digestive health, and disease prevention.

Yes, it's good to feed and grow your "good" bacteria so that they can overgrow and suppress the "bad" ones. Everyday, I feed the good bacteria in my mouth, and they suppresses the bad ones that produces acids and plagues. My mouth is now alkaline. That's how I got rid of my advance periodontitis, from which I had lost 4 tooth.

How did you feed the good bacteria in your mouth?

@@HEARTANDSOULOFMINE, hi, I use a water floss to shoot xylitol into the pockets of my gums. The “bad” bacteria cannot metabolize it. I also use a xylitol toothpaste.
This way, only the “good” bacteria can grow and not the ones that causes plague and acid. Soon, the bad ones will be outnumbered and suppressed- means less plagues and less acid being produced, which could lead to tissue damage and cavities. And if you test your saliva, it should be alkaline, your mouth should not be acidic. I stop using traditional toothpaste and mouthwash too because they kill both the good and bad bacteria.
This method works for me, but I can’t guarantee that it will work for everyone. I spent a lot of time doing a lot of relentless research and experimenting to come to this because I refused to spend thousands of dollars at the periodontist. It’s ridiculous. I told myself there’s gotta be another way.
Because of this method, I haven’t been to the dentist in years.
Those evil companies just wanted to make us buy those oral products and spend thousands of dollars on oral care. It’s all about money. There are other ways.

From what I understand Probiotics are destroyed by one's stomach acid. Correct me if I am wrong. For sometime now when I ferment veggies well I lit them in a blender to liquify then down the hatch on an empty stomach. Kinda hoping that I was wrong now
