@@punci22 haha yeah this spot is often shoulder to shoulder, luckily all the regulars are chill and we don’t mind sharing space. Everyday someone gets their line tangled with another, but we are all really chill about it because it’s just part of fishing here. And believe it or not I get to this spot earlier than everyone else to have a good spot, I just wait till I know they’re biting to start casting! Honestly it’s a really fun place to fish and 99% of the anglers here are super friendly!

@@johnnybstuddd4482 thanks! We don’t grow em nearly as big down here as most of the country, they only get about 20-30lbs here, but they get way fatter than most areas!

@@AndrewAbashidze haha yeah this dam is only about 8 miles from my house so I go here anytime we have decent current! And I’ll talk more about my rods in my upcoming vids, but the short version is: I tried several rods, broke several, and after years of trial and error I’ve settled on these Suzuki specials by black hole USA. For $240-300 I cannot find a rod as long, strong, and light as these. I have the Suzuki special 1, which is a bit heavier and the cheaper rod of the two, and the Suzuki special 2, which is my favorite rod I’ve ever owned. The 2 is only like 5oz total weight for a 9’6”, it can handle up to 2oz of lure weight, and as much as I’ve dropped it on the rocks over the past few years, it’s never had any problems or breaks!
