@AikenAngling after deer season lol. Tried lowhead othe day for perch. Wore the hybrid stripes out. None ove 5 lbs tho. Was fun on perch pole. I'm sure they some big uns in there I jus didn't catch any

@@AikenAngling I bet man, that looked fun. I finally got a combo to try out at the dam. Picked up a 9ft Ugly Stik and put a Daiwa Exceler on it. Also got some of the spoons and swimbaits you recommended. Hopefully I can get out there this week or the next. I hope you have a great Christmas!

@ yessir! I get all my reels from them, but I will say if you place an order over $800 you get hit with international tax duties. So just keep it under $800. Personally, I like the certate more still, it’s my current favorite reel even more so than my Stella’s and saltiga, but I gotta say the twin power felt a lot more “solid”. My certate has given me zero issues, but deep down in my soul I feel like the twin power would hold up longer if you’re trying to buy a life-long reel. The new twin power feels like a better stronger version of the current Stella

@@heaxy9540 it’s a Waterloo salinity medium-light casting rod 7 foot. I absolutely love it. I’ve caught stripers, big drum, reds, and even a 30lb jack on it and it’s never given me any problems.

Both the same there are 2 main types of drum red drum or redfish and black drum which are part of the croaker family

@@msfishingprod.5686 yessir! It’s all about getting that lure right in front of them, at least for the stripes! Main thing is to only work your lure in the current, as soon as it stops moving with the current you gotta burn it back in or you’ll get hung up!

@@robb158 thanks brother! Recently my favorite has been the Z-man trout eye jig heads in either 1/4oz or 1/8oz. For such a small package, they have a strong ass hook! I also really like the mustad inshore darter jig head!

@@Paul_T843 thanks Paul! So I actually prefer both the new certate and the new twin power to the current Stella. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing reel, but similar to how when a new car comes out you gotta let them work out the kinks for a couple years before buying one. For example, they put all their new tech in the Stella every 5 years, and then trickle that tech down to the other reels like the twin power. So the twin power is honestly a more refined version of the 2022 Stella if that makes any sense. I thought the twin power felt much stronger myself. But the certate is still my fav. It’s right in that sweet spot of light and strong. Just so much fun to catch fish on!

@AikenAngling, that does make sense. Thanks! My local Cabela's and Academy don't carry any Shimano or Daiwa spinning reels over $250 so I haven't gotten to play around with any of the high end reels. I appreciate your feedback.
