Amusing and entertaining as ever (my very non-musical other half always enjoys your lessons), but your tricky chord working out skills are nothing short of astounding on this particular number. No time for talking now, I've got a song to learn! Once again thank you so much for being here and being awesome!
Discovered your channel about a year ago while trying to find an acoustic lesson for Everlong. I popped in yesterday again and I gotta say that I'm madly impressed!!! Not only do you cover my favorite artists, but you make everything really entertaining and easy to learn and play!! Well done - I'm blown away!!. You'll realise this because I NEVER comment on anything!! Thank you and keep it up!!!
I love it! Even split up into tiny units every single beautiful bit of this song makes me giddy AND melancholic. In the best of ways. Thank you for this excellent lesson! :)
Great lesson. Your love of PJ really shows when you're teaching PJ. Confession of an unpopular opinion: This might be my least favorite song on Ten. It's still one of my favorite albums of all time though. I missed a lot of good music because this CD lived in my CD player for at least a year and I listened to only it while driving.
So crazy thing is I was Three Hundred and Twenty Five days old Forty Two years seven months and fifteen days ago and I distinctly remember thinking "WOW, in only forty two years seven months and fifteen days from now Ryan will be doing campfire Jeremy!!" Then I pooped myself.
you forgot the detail that you also peed yourself, for one cannot poop without peeing. I quote the great matt farley in his song "I pee when I poop (but not the other way around)" (that's right, when I have to pee, the urge to poop does not occur to me) Also, if one poops oneself, then wouldn't one be inside out?
This is a bit too complicated for me at my point of guitar mastery. But I’ll work a little harder so I can accomplish this someday! Thanks for the video!
I feel like it isn't typically the type of band you would do, but can you do a video on No Other One or Pink Triangle by Weezer? I have looked for tutorial vids on those songs, they are two of my favorites, but I haven't found any, and your videos usually make sense to me. Thanks for reading my comment!
@@RyanLendt Found it! You're my hero. Next time you chat with Stone put a little plug for that version of Corduroy. It would be so amazing for the band to do it that style again.
@@RyanLendt LOL! You totally mentioned me as one of the requesters, too! I can't believe I missed it. Switching notifications to "all" and I better check out the Patreon for my sins.
well, my playing skill is far from that, but I look at your guitar playing with my eyes wide open and it's really interesting and mesmerizing In addition, the lack of understanding of English speech by ear complicates everything much more 🤣 but anyway, thanks for all these lessons, it is at least a pleasure to listen to them!
Ryan, you have no idea how many campfires I started in my living room thanks to you!
haha oh no not the coffee table!
its easier than dragging the coffe table outside at night
Bloomin heck brother.. brilliant. Bloomin brilliant 🤩 👍👍👍
thanks blade!
I’m really not sure who is more genius, Jeff/Pearl Jam for writing it originally or you for coming up with the Campfire version but 👏👏👏👏👏
aw thanks Chris.
You are fresh air on guitar TH-cam! Actually fascinating!
Campfire Jeremy for the win! 👍👍
:)
This has to be the best campfire song you have taught!!!
thanks chris!
Dude.....I've been trying to play harmonics the wrong way for years!!!
This is a Eureka moment!!!!
I'm always learning from your videos!
Thanks Ryan👍
love it. pleasure!
That's a really good campfire version. Always loved that album. If I had a nickel for every time I've listened to it.
it would be really hard to carry around all those nickels. you'd need a coin purse for sure.
I’ve been in the Colorado back country for 7 days. Awesome to come home to this great lesson. Thanks Ryan.
did you encounter any wild backs? and do wild backs have a front or are they just all back on every side and can only ever see where they've been?
I watched this just now and what pops up in my car on the radio when I am going to food right right now? This song lmao
timing :)
Fricking Brilliant Ryan!!! Thank you!
:)

good luck alex, please say hello to your non musical other half for me!

I cycled between this, blood sugar, the cure wish, and Jimmy buffet greatest hits...
my least favorite song on ten is still a more favorite of mine than any other song by any other band.
Great lesson as usual!
thanks bud!

Bloody love it. Only I play the E-F walk up on the D string in the chorus instead of hammering the high E string
howdy linc
Can you please do a bass lesson for Jeremy?
Can you do the slow version of corduroy from bridge school 1996?
i've done that

Hey I really like your lessons could you do one on Flowers in The Window by Travis
thanks MP - great idea
March 7 is pretty special to me.
thanks Paul
Black diamond pearl jam Ace Frehley thanks you are the best
thanks for the idea ken
Actually Betterman was written before Pearl Jam formed. So you can still call it the Betterman chord.
very good point.
I don't know if you already have, if you did I couldn't find it, but it would be awesome if you could do She Likes Surprises by Soundgarden
I haven't - thanks for the idea Meat
Awsome, but could you play through the whole arrangement once som I can get a better feel og what you mean?
Hey Ryan, do you have show notes?
Jeremy ukelele version please Ryan
