Hey Luke, this video was a great idea! I've had a lot of success pleasing people with just a few tunes: Oh Susanna (playing chords), Home On the Range, Piano Man, Oh Shenandoah (single notes), Country Roads, Happy Birthday, some hymns (Amazing Grace, Oh For a Thousand Tongues to Sing), a chugging 12-bar blues, some basic children's songs (like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star), and a couple of Christmas songs (Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night). The best thing about the harmonca is that you can literally put it in your pocket and take it anywhere and just practice these songs to your hear's content.
What a useful video - will definitely be using this! Also had no idea Tony Northrup could play the harmonica - generous of you to invite him for the "beginner" skit

I would really love a tutorial for the intro of the song "le shack a hector". There's no tutorial online because its a song in french and i can't figure it out how to play it alone 🫤. The singer from the group recently passed away and its one of my favourite song and i would really love if i could learn it.

It will probably be around 20 when done. They show the characters in a different perspective than normal, raise some hard questions from time to time. I am a good guitarist, played in bands all my life, I know scales, modes, melodies, etc. but I am still having problems with just playing basic scales, why is it so frustrating, am I just cursed with can't play harmonica syndrome? Help!

What are you doing here? lol I have that same problem with guitar… I been playing for years, but due to my inability to play basic scales, I have never been one they choose for lead guitar, which was always discouraging… another issue I have on guitar is not being able to look away while playing,I always have to watch my hands the whole time…. Oh,and I cannot cannot cannot play chords, never been able to since day one! It doesn’t help that my guitar teacher was terrible…

I have that same problem with guitar… I been playing for years, but due to my inability to play basic scales, I have never been one they choose for lead guitar, which was always discouraging… another issue I have on guitar is not being able to look away while playing,I always have to watch my hands the whole time…. Oh,and I cannot cannot cannot play chords, never been able to since day one! It doesn’t help that my guitar teacher was terrible…
