A year late but that is what is nice about the internet. This is such a nice down to earth series. I do have a 94 mustang and this content did help. Thanks.
cool mods, though i would never fully box do to weight. The control arms are already pretty strong, the main problem with the fox/sn95 chassis is the body flex. the Better control arm mod will be offset bushings, to move the control arm forward.
Rack Bushings! Great series guys. If you can instruct us how to get these in, we would really appreciate it. I'm in the process of restoring my 95 GTS and my suspension is shot. I have Eibcach Pros and KYB Excel G's ready to go in. Any help you can provide to improve the handling of our cars (especially with steering rack bushings) is greatly appreciated! Liked and subscribed.
The rack bushing video is scheduled for filming this weekend, so we will certainly have that for you ASAP. I have a GTS as well, and it sounds like you are on a good track to improved handling. As always, more to follow. Thanks for the comment! - Darren
The Fiat Twin Cam engine remains on the stand and the idea has hit the scrap bin. Parts costs, and machine work for the return have made this particular engine nonviable for our goals. Thanks for the comment! - Darren
We used the same drill and large drill bit method from Part 1 of the installation. The space to work is a bit crowded, bit it is easier than many of the alternatives. Thanks for watching and Commenting! - Darren
I got a problem with my 1994 ford mustang GT 5.0 automatic. I think the previous owner put some headers on the car and when I run it it goes great but at times it makes like a noise then when I try to drive normal it sounds forced I try to go to 55 but it doesn't shift gear. Keeps on going up to 3000 rpm. I check with others and they say it's not the tranmission they checked the oils and everything and it seems fine. But the guy said someone told him when he got it tuned the guy who tuned the car messed something up. So idk if anyone can help me is it the tranmission or the tune or maybe something else I need help before I spend money on other things that wont help the problem
We used fairly light 18 guage steel for this project, thicker could be used for sure, but the factory arms are fairly well sorted, we did the mod as "insurance" for a little added stiffness. - Darren
We have no plans for additional Lada films until sometime later in 2019. During the summer we discovered the car needed a huge amount of rust repair which required full interior disassembly and other serious work. The sheet metal is done but the seating must be rebuilt as the mounts were torn from the floor while the seat frames are broken and quite unsafe. The interior still must be finished and some exhaust work is mandatory. In addition, the driver side window debonded from the frame and cannot be closed, it is difficult to access and perform a good long term fix. None of these repairs are good video material, and the IVAN2104 videos sadly have not continued to develop the channel audience beyond 30 or so regular viewers. After year 1 the traffic and popularity of Lada videos experienced a huge slump and have simply never recovered. Due the production expenses, parts shipment costs and time spent, it has been a very costly series to produce completely out of pocket as hobbyists. The IVAN2104 project has been placed on pause while we reassess and work to expand the channel with our more popular topics. Thanks for commenting and your continued interest! - Darren
@@GrandTouringConcepts Come on, rust repair is interesting, how did you decide its not good video material? The 3S-GTE Mini has a lot of fabrication and welding and it's doing fine view wise
We did a deep dive into the youtube analytics and the stats are exceedingly poor. Looking at our two Lada bodywork films, each have taken a year get the viewership that a Mustang video gets in a month. After the first 100 fans watch it in the first week, it tanks to fewer than 100 views per month. Average watch time reports that people have tuned out in fewer than 5 minutes. We do recognise that body work projects like the Mini you mention are quite popular, but either the Lada as a subject or our presentation of the subject is failing to develop interest. - Darren
I’d love to see more of these videos please! Love watching these videos need more facts and myths on the sn95/ power upgrades
I can't wait until SN95 Owner's Guide #13 - Handling Upgrades Part 3

Not really sure what happened to the series, but I have seen every single one of your SN videos and love them. Please make more!

It's been a year since the Fiat twincam update, has there been any movement on this or have you scrapped the idea?.

Is this channel dead?
We are currently on a tactical pause, pending a relaunch later in the fall.
