I have to say, are there any limits to your undoubted talents ? removing a roof lining is always challenging, never mind repairing to the standard that you have. With regard to your choice of car, 100% support you on that, I ran a GTC for seven years, I absolutely loved it, a brutally fast luxury car, for the money, these cars are hard to beat, just as long as people follow your advice, don't buy the cheapest one on offer, but do buy the one with provable full history, and of course keep a few quid put by for servicing and unforseen snags. Enjoy your time with it. I know you will.
@@assettrader1587 thanks very much! As with any slightly older premium car, there are lots of things to be wary of, but buying a well serviced, good history car has to be the only real way forward (even with a few slightly rough edges!) 👍
Really enjoyed that boss, what a ride. Oh, and never, never apologise for your work, you're doing this for a bloody living and know what's required by the fiercest critic of all - the market. Very cool car! I would keep the wheels, I think they look way more modern than those 19s. Alse those tires are a selling point, if you don't smoke them up in the next 3 months. Also excited about the next car. At first I thought you bought a mystery van but then realised Scooby is a Subaru where you live 😅
Ive looked at these and flying spurs many times, so many "gotcha's" on them like removing wings and front ends for service or repair procedures and tipping the engine forwards to replace engine sensors between the back of the engine and bulkhead . Looking good driving that Bentley Johnny, it suits you. Always thought they are a beautiful car and you instantly look rich driving one of them regardless of its age. Interesting to hear how it treats you whilst you have it, and I am sure it will be a better car when you move it on, from when you bought it. 👌
Great work Johnny, was lots of seemingly small enhancements but involving some very skilled work… I’d heard the cost of replacing the rear brake light which was astounding… great you found a workaround!
Thanks very much! Yes there will be lots of minor fixes coming up to make this as good as it can possibly be (although I’m absolutely loving driving it and using it regardless!) What a dream come true!
Well done mate. That headliner came out really well. I did mine in my vw golf and that was had enough using stretchy fabric never mind leather which I imagine is a lot less forgiving. Nice job

nice car and not an old man car at all and love the number plate and keep the wheels this is one of my dream cars and 19 years old it still looks fresh
Interesting! I have done various tests with the suspension to check it all functions and all seems A-OK, but you could be right. It looks a little high (I’d assumed because of the bigger wheels), but I’ll have to plug it in and see what heights are being read vs what correct spec should be!

I was going to say don't get the tesla screen but imo after looking online there aren't many options that look great, will make them look like a VW Polo infotainment unit! I would go with the tesla unit and supply the OEM part with the sale of the car.
I do know what you mean. I thought about a separate Bluetooth module running through the standard media unit but even then it’s 19 year old screen tech etc so by going for a Tesla style unit, I would be upgrading all of the kit at once!
Nice work on the roof lining , well done with it. The car look immense. Not sure about putting a Tesla type screen in it but it’s yours to do what you want with. Enjoy.
There was a 'check lights' warning on screen, but even if there wasn't, i would always repair it.
