I watched every minute of this video twice, and think it's amazing! What better ending than to give your father the car! My father and I had a plan to rebuild an old muscle car, after he retired soon...he had race cars he sold when I was born...he was a diesel mechanic by trade, and grew up in a transmission shop his father owned. I grew up in a garage, helping, learning, and doing routine maintenance, and aftermarket parts once I was driving. My father had a severe stroke, just 6 weeks before retirement, and one a year to the day another stroke, that completely debilitated him. He has dementia now, and is in a rest home. Watching your father in the garage with you through all your videos, reminds me of all the great times I had growing up working on cars, and time we spent together. I just wonder sometimes and especially seeing content like this, what would have decided to build, and the sense of accomplishment at the end...✌️

Hi Mat, I have watched you fix a number of cars, and I thought I was subscribed. I subscribe to everything I watch. I have watched you fix at least 6 or 7 cars. I watched you put together your garage. Maybe I should have said I watched you expand it. I opened up my phone, and it said subscribe. I just looked at my TV, and of course, if my phone said subscribe. Well you get what i'm saying. I know that when you are the man fixing the car that it's going to get fixed regardless of how bad things are. I have watched you take something that looks absolutely unfixable. But you never get deterred, you never get discouraged. You always come up with a solution. So as I watched you going through the Ferrari F430 that you're fixing right now. In my mind in my heart it felt like every single disaster you looked at inside that car. I said to myself he just touched another piece of gold. This is a cakewalk for Mat.
I watched this series on and off as it was released, but was great to watch it all again from start to finish. The ending when your dad got the car and tore off down the road was just perfect. Love following your car journey everything seems so real and genuine 🙂

Watching Hanna help push a Ferrari off the lift? The single best moment of the day.(wow! I wish I could be more complementary & charming.) Mat, you are doing quite well too!
Best part was You handing the key over to your Dad....How nice of You & How Cool & Blessed you are to have his support & love......I have non of that with my Dad
I have no dad
Absolutely loved this one Matt. Giving it to your Dad at the end was just the icing on the cake ❤
Fantastic build lads. To finish it off by giving it to your Dad after all his help on your other builds shows the true great character of you Mat. Well done Lad. Quality.
Mats dads laugh is contagious!!! I love seeing him on the channel!! He also seems like such a humble man!!!
Actually brought a tear to my eye. Your dad's a legend.
Round of applause for the editor(s) who put this magnificent vid up as well. Job well done everyone and what a beautiful ending.
I would rather you guys assemble an engine because you care and if not done right it personally could cost you and your dad even though he didn’t know it is car.
Loving the editing and footage of actually taking the engine apart, more in depth. This channel just gets better.Keep up the good work you are the best on TH-cam
That was REALLY Great of you to give it to your dad! I wish I had that kind of time with my dad. Cherish every moment. Great Build!!
So addicted to your channels 🤣🤣🤣 very inspiring and what fantastic relationship you have with your father…. Keep the videos coming! 👌🏼
Pure engineering marvel of a masterpiece. I have never loved watching a TH-cam video more than this. Simply breathtaking work from Matt and his dad.
Hope you guys make more of these full build episodes videos, really good to sit and watch for a couple of hours, really enjoyed watching the rebuild again 👍
The ending made my cry. Such a wonderful thing giving the car to your father.
This is 100% better filmed and more entertaining that most professional documentaries out there. Thank you!
This is by far my favorite build. I'm not the biggest fan of Ferrari mind you, but doing this for your old man, that just takes the cup.
Love these full edit builds even though I’ve seen it already. Great to refresh your memory
Ive watched the last part a couple of times and tear up everytime. Miss my dad you are blessed to have such a awesome dad.
I watched this series on and off as it was released, but was great to watch it all again from start to finish. The ending when your dad got the car and tore off down the road was just perfect. Love following your car journey everything seems so real and genuine 🙂
I'm soooo proud of you budd... It brought tears to my eyes when you handed the keys to your dad. Wish I could have done something like this for mine. He is late since I was a teenager. I follow your guy's builds together and you guys are truly awesome . Keep it up❤❤❤
Dear Matt thank you for sharing this with those of us who never had a chance like this with our Dad's we are grateful 🙏 .❤
Watched the full video in fact pretty much watch all your videos. Just want to say you truly are inspirational Mat what a hard worker you are. You just refuse to be beaten. You truly deserve all the success coming your way. 👍
Hadn't joined the channel to see the beginning of this build but caught the end when you gave it to your dad, which was awesome AF!
Didn't know Tavarish gave you the engine. The man! GG Freddy
I wish I was closer with my dad. It's great to see you share life with your dad. He loved us all, but wasn't a dad buddy. I miss him
Your Dad is hilarious. You’re a great guy for giving him the car you two shared time restoring. Time and money well spent. Keep it up.
The ending gets me every time. Knew it was coming but still...
Your Dad is the best, Your crew are the best, the editing is top notch, I feel like I known all you for years.
By far my fav content creator on YT. Long may it continue.
I have already seen this build and I will watch it again. I really like the mat video!

Freddy is the reason why I use all my spare time on waching car rebuilding videos. been following you since the audi, and got hooked after the s5
I don't have time to watch a three hour video of people working on an old clapped out Ferrari. I watched _every single minute_ of this one!
2 hours 51 min 9 seconds just to tear up " I MISS YOU DAD!"❤❤❤❤❤ GREAT VIDEO 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I think this one of the best episode between matt and his dad...awesome

When Matt gave the key to his dad I must admit. I got a little choked up.. Nice job guys...
Just love the fact you're so positive Matt. It's an inspiration in today's world of trouble and drama to actually watch you having fun and making the best of even the low points.
Fantastic video, build, workmanship with your dad, creativity and so on. Watched entire video on mobile…saved to watch again on a big screen over the weekend 👍
My automotive repairs or builds are not as extravagant but epic when I have my dad stop by asking questions and lending a hand ❤
One of those TH-camrs where you like the video before you even watch it
It's 1am and I have an interview tomorrow. Fuck it.
GL!
Good luck with the interview
Says a lot about the channel 💪🏼😂Good luck pal. Let us know how it went?
Throw a spoon in the fridge and press it your eyes tmr morning, reduces the puffiness
All the best tomorrow. Enjoy the video too! 😂
i was like "3 hours, there's no way I'm watching it all!" and her I am watching your dad receive his Ferrari!
Great video , one of the best on the internet , I lost my dad 35 years ago , he was a lot like your dad , top man and everyone loved him , Thankyou for the memories Mat
This is by far my favorite episode! I love the ending! A long but fun watch! I feel like a mechanic after watching this one lol Your dad is the coolest out there, he definitely deserves this car. Cheers from the mountain kingdom of Lesotho!
I came for the project, stayed for your dad!
sick video guys
“he told me to shut up!?” 😂😂
My first ever watch! Outstanding Matt, totally brilliant viewing. Giving the car to your dad was just amazing.
I've always "worked" on cars (limited stuff, brakes, oil, coolant stuff etc.) but this video is such an amazing visual teaching aid as to how the engine and it's parts actually work. Learning from every video! Love this and Mat's main channel. Love from Canada!
