This Land Cruiser was a little rough around the edges when i picked it up but after some serious elbow grease it is now back to its beautiful best & I really want to keep this one for myself!

Really enjoying the series. Fantastic work for sure and your how to videos have helped me no end. What surprises me is you don’t do the alloys yourself, it is such an easy thing to do and will save you hundreds of pounds considering I used to pay around £100 a wheel. After having some dents done and watching how they did it I got myself a kit off Amazon and found that it isn’t that difficult to do, again this would aid the final finish. very impressed with your channel and long May it continue.

Re wheel refurbs, I used to do this myself and to extent still do on certain vehicles (depending on price point), however with the higher end stuff (like this Land Cruiser), I like to have the wheels blasted and powder coated to ensure the longevity of the finish. It also helps being able to outsource job like that as the time it saves me is a big help too!

Correct! The sticker on the tailgate was the ‘Gstaad My Love’ type (which sunburnt the base coat!). All sorted now though!

It’s just a case of finding the right person for it now, someone who values the sheer quality on offer here! I’m very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with one of my all time dream cars!
I love this series don’t get me wrong, not hating whatsoever, but all these cars you buy are In beautiful condition, cars as such would be classed as perfect condition in Australia, absolute clappers still pull big money here.
It’s interesting seeing the change in market, condition wise, something so clean we’d class “Australian standards” compared to the things you’ve worked on you’ve classed as rough condition

I wish I could do this myself honestly, and technically I could, but I don't have your knowledge of products or my own garage for example.

Have you considered buying 2-3 cars to work on simultaneously? Sounds like lots of waiting around when you only have 1 project, could be an opportunity to maximise your gains and minimise your liability. (If 1 project does not work out as expected profit wise you can always fall back on the others).
What products do you use to clean the interior up with?
Rather hear you working than the music.

That was what I thought initially but I guess due to it being double skinned and near an arch edge they felt they couldn’t get to the back of it so it wasn’t doable? I’d like to get better at PDR so at least this was a chance to do some very basic practice for me!

i tried this with a volvo c30 lets just say I'm now down 2.5k and it wont sell
It’s certainly a very tough challenge. You only need to look at the amount of TH-camrs who have started trying to trade up and quit / swept the whole process under the carpet. It’s almost impossible to persistently make profits and keep climbing the ladder! Don’t be disheartened though. Sometimes you just need to cut your losses, reduce the car and accept a loss so you can move forward again with something different. Best of luck 👍

Progress has been slow lately with the Land Cruiser and other day to day stock taking so much time but there is progress…I’m hoping the next episode will see the underside of the body finished and ready to go back onto the chassis 👍

You made this car worth 30k now i would really woud buy it for 25k at least, why people go wasting money on new cars and suv when you can get these good older cars lets say youre gonna waste money on buying a new Mercedes or something else for 25k why not get good nice old school car somthing like this for instance maybe 8k then put in 4k maybe doing it up making it new and you in 12k and you have nice car that would hold its value or even go up, dont waste money on new cars that arent even the qulity or desighn and dont go for ev crap anyway.
It was a truly stunning bit of kit, and it was genuinely difficult saying goodbye to it as I’d always promised myself a sorted 100 series. The consolation is that it went to a really nice couple and I hope that the vehicle increases in value over the next few years as it was an absolutely beautiful example!
