I love my HTVRont, though i have reached a point where I'm buying the HPN 16 x 20. Anyway, something that greatly improved my HTVRont experience was replacing the heat mat it came with with an Artesprix foam mat, sometimes with a nomex pad too. Really provided a lot more pressure, and it was consistent. Thanks for all your great videos!
We really liked the feature of the HTVRONT as well but we weren't able to increase the pressure enough for DTF to LAST. We even tried replacing the included mat and swapping it out with 2 layers of 1/2" silicone base and still did not have enough pressure. We were able to print edge to edge but the transfer prematurely wrinkles in the wash.
I want to get a 2nd press, and I am debating between a very simple 16x20 or the HTVront press. I have a 15x15 swing arm. I really want the HTVront, it looks so simple.and easy to use, but I do have a 13x19 sublimation printer, so I keep thinking I need the larger press.
I love my HTVront! I actually use two mats for pressure. I just ordered the same mat like the one included with the press and so far so good! (only had it a couple of weeks.)
Its a nice press but we weren't able to get enough pressure for DTF use. Have you tried washing it? How are the results? Do you see premature wrinkling?
I use the Cricut press 3 but it’s on 340 degrees at 30 seconds and it still does not fully on shirt I have to press my weight on it 2-3 times Thinking of moving to another product to cover 12x17. Thoughts or related videos of choice
I'm here for the Superstar vevor upgrade! I started jumping up and down when I seen it because I just got one not opened yet and been trying to find videos on it. So happy I found this!
Those swing around presses will get the job done but for large production they are annoying to use because you basically have to swing them a full 180° to get it out the way
It really depends on the features that you deem necessary. Most of the budget presses will get by but if you're looking for something that is a nice size like 16x20, pressure level gauge, auto release, countdown timer, standard outlet, We have one but it is 1 tier higher than the budget presses. www.transfersuperstars.com/products/heatmaster-prisma-pro-auto-open-dtf-heat-press-machine-16x20
I use both circut and oldskool swank heat press. The space under the swank maxhine is so bad. Cant so hoodys easely. Only good for normal size print on t shirts if you need to so some more qnty
I'm confused by the heat tests. So for the cricut, for example, when you did the heat test you got around 242 the first time and about 270 i think the second time. But in the end when reviewing the pros and cons you said the heat range was lower (230 - 240 or something). The numbers didn't match from what we saw initially. It was the same for all of the machines. What am i missing/not understanding?
I have the Vevor 8n1 and it's never failed.. only issues is the size I have to do 2 to 3 presses depending on size of vinyl and when u do that you need to be careful not to over heat already pressed vinyl you got to be precise with placement but other than that it's been fantastic
What would you recommend for me ? I’am overseas for you and want to get one to start with and stay with for longterm ? i want to do better quality - expensive clothes to design ( T-shirts - hoodies ) Greetings from in the Netherlands!
I have Cricut Easy Press 2 12x10 heat press and I love it, but when doing a big design on a T-shirt it was a hassle having to press separate sections, so I went and got an auto press, but I'm curious about your tests, because I may eventually get a manual heat press, because while I love the auto press, you can't adjust the pressure.
Wow, that's a lot of work. I'm gonna watch part 2 later, much appreciated. I'm going for the htvront/ loklik and I wanted to see your take, since you're a reference about DTF. Thanks a lot.
How do you get the logo that you print is there a video on that? Im not trying to use that logo but wanted to to know how get a logo thats just print one time to the shirt. I saw vinyls it takes like 3 vinyl sheets seperate presses. Im planning on draeing own logos so how would i be able to make them printable. Thank you
We create our own artwork. You do not need to separate layers or colors when doing DTF. DTF prints full color. You can do 1 or you can do 100, the same way. If you are needing transfers, feel free to give us a try. www.transfersuperstars.com/products/dtf-gangsheet-builder
Hi great channel, what heat press for DTF would you recommend for the UK? most of these seeem to not be available for the UK even for the winner powerpress :-(
Thanks for your reply, I did see the power press which was recommended to being the best heat press for £305 plus £159 for p&p would any heat press with a clamp work?
It helps with longevity and durability, especially for those that don't have a good press we recommend a 2nd press. We personally always 2nd press and have had no complaints.
There are different transfers out there so be sure to follow instructions but regarding our transfers, we usually let it cool for 15seconds. This is important when transferring artwork with small details.
Hello I buyed the Vevorr 2 in 1 heatpress before I saw this video, but the machine is so bad. I printed many times but I do not get my hot peel result. Now I am waiting for Vevorr to make a decision, because I want to return it.
I have a Vevor 7-in-1 Swing 15x15. I bought it directly from Vevor because their prices are lower than Amazon. The only attachment I have used is the mug press. It worked great, but I now have a tumbler press, so I don't use it anymore. My Vevor has been amazing. I have used it for vinyl and sublimation. I will say I would sometimes have issues when doing extremely large vinyl designs. I would flip the shirt and press it again upside down to resolve the issue. I've never had an issue with sublimation. I've done all kinds of different substrates, including some pretty thick pieces of wood and slate. Everything from tshirts to acrylic to wood and more has sublimated perfectly. The press is unstable when swung all the way open. You can bolt the front of the base down. Also, the bottom pulls out, so you can easily work with hoodies. I would try getting yours swapped out for another one that has better reviews.
I don't have one in particular that I would recommend. We purchase ours from overseas and have limited support, If I were to make a recommendation, I would look at all american print supply or dtfsuperstores for some domestic printers that have good service. Goodluck!
The content was becoming too lengthy to edit. So we decided to split the video up, this also allowed us to release part 1 first for our viewers as well.

This video was soooo helpful! Exactly what I needed right now! Can’t thank you enough!
Glad it helped! Thanks so much for watching the video and supporting the channel.
Thank you for the comparisons. The HTVRONT is used in lots of videos. Good to see other options.
No problem! Thank you!
I use the Cricut press 3 but it’s on 340 degrees at 30 seconds and it still does not fully on shirt I have to press my weight on it 2-3 times

The cricut presses have a really hard time providing enough pressure. You need an actual heat press for DTF
I'm here for the Superstar vevor upgrade! I started jumping up and down when I seen it because I just got one not opened yet and been trying to find videos on it. So happy I found this!
Good choice!
What is the best heat press machine to buy now 2024
Those swing around presses will get the job done but for large production they are annoying to use because you basically have to swing them a full 180° to get it out the way
Yes I totally agree. Its not ideal for production speed.
Love detail you are with each machine, thank you, you have saved me so much money
Thank you!
These can be used for other purposes as well or only DTF? thank you :) great video!
Correct, It works on vinyl, sublimation and other heat transfers.
cook tortillas
@@wickeddecalcreation7900flour or corn
Thanks for taking the time to review all those. Great job!
My pleasure!
Which heat press would you recommend that will have all the features needed?

Thanks for the video. How reliable is this process compared to screenprinting in terms of durability of the prints?
Durability is great as long as you are using a good heat press with heavy pressure. We have shirts that still look great after years.
I use both circut and oldskool swank heat press. The space under the swank maxhine is so bad. Cant so hoodys easely. Only good for normal size print on t shirts if you need to so some more qnty
They need to make them roomier for hoodies.
So wich was the best please? For T shirt stamping
Watch the video or at least read the description to find out buddy
Which one do u reccomend
The winner was the powerpress, we recommend that press if you are starting off and needs something to get the job done.
I dont know why nothing is available in Australia..i found only vevor and htv ront
Now I'm brand new to this (looking to buy my first heat transfer press) is there a significance to the 2nd press?
Helps ensure that the transfer is embedded on the shirt. We see a big difference in the wash test
Do you have to get a machine specifically for Dtf or sublimation?
Yup, you need specific printers for each.
Its overall low because we set it at 300 and its not even close to hitting that in any of the areas.
I have the Vevor 8n1 and it's never failed.. only issues is the size I have to do 2 to 3 presses depending on size of vinyl and when u do that you need to be careful not to over heat already pressed vinyl you got to be precise with placement but other than that it's been fantastic
That's why we stick to a minimum press size of 15x15". the 12x15" has always been an awkward dimension.
What would you recommend for me ?
I’am overseas for you and want to get one to start with and stay with for longterm ?
i want to do better
quality - expensive clothes to design
( T-shirts - hoodies )
Greetings from in the Netherlands!
Not sure what you have available overseas. We are just familiar with the US market

If doing DTF, you definitely need more pressure. We haven't been able to get good results using any hand held presses like the Cricut.
Love the two videos. You are so informative inyour videos. I think i will purchase the powerpress❤
Wow, that's a lot of work. I'm gonna watch part 2 later, much appreciated. I'm going for the htvront/ loklik and I wanted to see your take, since you're a reference about DTF. Thanks a lot.
Thank you! Appreciate you checking out the video. There's a lot of work that goes into making a video like this.

Unfortunately I have not checked the market for UK, what do you guys have available from the list of presses we've tested?
Thanks for your reply, I did see the power press which was recommended to being the best heat press for £305 plus £159 for p&p would any heat press with a clamp work?
How much is each one ? And where to get ?
There are product links in the video description for each press
@@transfersuperstars thank you for your video .. super helpful and really great information and presentation of all the specs and facts :)
What's the name of that more expensive black one you left out? Thank you in advance! ♡
The one we tested on part 3? th-cam.com/video/hP1Cn6HLw2o/w-d-xo.html
Why do you need to do the 2nd press? Whats it for?
It helps with longevity and durability, especially for those that don't have a good press we recommend a 2nd press. We personally always 2nd press and have had no complaints.
for how long do you let it cool?
Our transfers can be peeled both hot or cold depending on artwork details. Normally we let it cool for 10-15s to be safe.
www.transfersuperstars.com
im debating between the power press and slendor since the slendor can do more such as a hat and mug
Are you currently doing hats and mugs?
what transfer paper do you use ?
We import our own film by the pallets. Its from overseas
How long to let the shirt cool after pressing?
There are different transfers out there so be sure to follow instructions but regarding our transfers, we usually let it cool for 15seconds. This is important when transferring artwork with small details.
@@transfersuperstars thank you! Loved your video
How come the creworks not on the list they go from £139 up wards on Amazon
which one? can you provide a link for us to checkout.
