    Been shopping for heat presses to begin manufacturing my own designs and begin selling apparel online. I watched this video after your 3-part 7 heat press comparison and all your information was incredibly helpful and detailed! Thank you guys for putting these videos together and sharing all that you've learned with us. Amazing stuff! 🤘

    I am super thankful for your videos. This is the one I have my eyes on, as well as the HTVront swing away that you just tested. Between these two, both getting an above 4 rating from you and both being under $200 which one would you recommend to a beginner for personal use and potentially small business usage?

      I personally like the clam shell design vs swing away better but both are good beginner presses.

    Thank you for the great videos! I do agree with the other person that commented. It looks as though they made new changes to it again, even since this really recent purchase/review. It now has the Teflon coated heating plate. Maybe they follow you and keep upgrading based on your videos idk. Hard to say if they made any other changes since this video was made, but maybe. Anyway, keep up the great videos!

    Adding a helpful hint, when you use a thermal sensor like that and point it at an angle you are getting reflected temperature reading from other surfaces that skew your measurement. That tool is designed to work when perpendicular to the surface being measured.

    I have this press and it's been serving me well!! Quick question- is it possible to replace the lower platten on this press or if not- maybe an extended platten? I kept wondering about this because I think a platten that has a drawer like feature can make it easier to lay down the shirts easier.

    hey I actually brought this press based on your review of it, so thanks and keep up the good work. What do you think is a good rule of thumb on cooling before you peel? Thanks again

    • @transfersuperstars
      @transfersuperstars  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on a few factors so check with your DTF supplier. For "our" particular DTF transfers, they can be peeled both hot as well as cold. If you've got a fairly solid print, I would try to instant peel. If you're dealing with finer details like neck tags and lettering, I would let it cool 10-15s. I might even use a microfiber cloth to give it a quick wipe to help cool.

    I loved the previous video where you reviewed the different models
    So helpful!! I’m getting ready to purchase a press. One quick question I’m going to be printing on big and tall shirts will a 15x15 press be big enough or should I get a 16x20 press

    • @transfersuperstars
      @transfersuperstars  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching that video. The 15x15 may work for oversized prints, you just have to do different sections at once. There aren't many "budget" 16x20 presses out there, they get to be pretty heavy. The one we recommend is our 16x20 Prisma th-cam.com/video/NoKvi6MnYhQ/w-d-xo.html

    I was just looking for possibly a great press to make some things for myself or some friends for gifts. Looks like this one might fit the bill perfectly assuming that it'll work with DTF transfers & hoodies. I'm a hoodie fanatic. Couldn't you just flip the hoodie & the design around upside down to make it easier to work with rather than fight with the hoodie??

      A bit unconventional but you can surely do that! I can tell you're a problem solver.

    Hi. I am your new subscriber. I am planning to start a small buss at home and i am very new to this kind of heat press thing.
    I was wondering which heat press machine will i start? I was thinking to do a t- shirt and hoodies? Does every press have diff type of fabric to use?
    Hopefully you can answer my question. Thanks🙏

      The powerpress in this video is a good press to start off. There are more expensive presses when you get to the volume and need but this one will work to get you started.

    I just bought one, and the newest version says “Teflon coated”… does that mean that I don’t need a Teflon sheet any more? Or would you still recommended using one?

    • @transfersuperstars
      @transfersuperstars  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We always recommend using a teflon sheet just in case. Last thing you want to do is have the heat press pop up and prematurely lift your transfer

    Hello, the description of the heat plate now says "Teflon coated." I was wondering if that means you actually don't need the teflon sheets anymore and that's the reason they no longer provide them? I'm thinking of purchasing this press so I'm trying to figure it out lol.

    • @transfersuperstars
      @transfersuperstars  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't think it was teflon coated. You may still need to use a magnet to add the layer. It is still a very good press.

      Thanks for the prompt response. I will definitely be ordering it based off of your videos. 👍 In the powerpress link you provided. The second product image says "Teflon Coated Heating Plate". I know nothing about heat press machines so I am a bit confused on that.

      @@transfersuperstars that's without shipping even. Ironically if I where to order it from the US it would be "only" 400usd though I'd probably have to pay import tax. I love in the Netherlands. I only just started using HTV like flex but I'm already tired if using an iron haha. So my demands aren't that high.

    Can you do a video on your oven/shaker. What temperature and settings do you use?
    My transfers scratch when I dig it hard with my fingernail. Is that normal?

    • @transfersuperstars
      @transfersuperstars  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Temperature and setting depends on a lot of factors. Speed of print, length of heating chamber, time in chamber, normal exhaust or assisted exhaust. Even powder melting point will play it's part. You need to continue to test your prints till you dial it down. Are you scratching before or after the press? On the shirt?

      The way each of them are built are very similar. They’re so close that you can’t go wrong with either one, just choose based on how it looks or how fast you can get it. With a heat press this economical it’ll pay for itself in 2 or 3 deals.
