This was super helpful 💯. I just purchased a heat press and been thinking about getting kittl as i want to create some tee shirts for my channel so this was a big help thanks
Before you downloaded these from kittl, did you vectorize them? Or just did the 300DPI? I’m all ready to go on my designs, but just need to know if I have to vectorize them or is 300DPI good enough?! Most of them will be back pieces for shirts, and small left pocket logos, I appreciate your page!
We did not vectorize. We used the templates on kittl. Just make sure you are exporting as transparent files and double check that the layers are completely removed.
It exports by artboard. If you aren't sure of your exact print size, I would recommend exporting at the largest size possible. You can always resize down rather and stretching it.
Very cool video. Now I have seen videos where you can create gangsheets in Canva; Can that not be done in Kittl ?? Do you have a video for that? Thanks
Hi, what about the printer? Which ones are you using? I'm currently using canon inkjet printer for my dtf. After the washout tests the art looks terrible. Is there any solution for this without buying 3k printer?
We only use commercial printers. Smaller desktop sized printers usually have issues with consistency. You might want to also check your ink, film, powder combination.
Hi! Thanks for your video, but I can't adjust my height and width separately when downloading the file. They change at the same time and the lock button does not work for me. Do you have any tips on how to change this?
Everything gets converted to CMYK in order to print DTF. You don't have to do it, we automatically do it. Keep us in mind if you need a transfer provider. www.transfersuperstars.com/products/dtf-gangsheet-builder
as a second press i normally do that for safe measures and it also helps with the feel of the print. there are other options like canvas “matt sheet” on our site. you can even use krafts paper or even sand paper. it depends on the look and feel you’re going for. it also depends on the size of the design, level of details, and fabric.
After you downloaded what program did you print from? I have a procolored printer and feel the pro rip software is not that great but unsure if I can use a different software
We use our own custom rip software. Our icc profiles are also calibrated extensively to achieve the brightest colors, i'm not familar with procolored unfortunately, sorry about that.
We suggest designing in CMYK because that's how our printing machines print with. This way you get more true colors. For whites, we stick with fffff and increase it on the % on the RIP to achieve brightest whites
@@fatihsolku0040 The Templates are downloadable for personal use but having multiple copies in your store for sell can get u into some legal issues with Kittl plus the artist if they see your store with their Templates. Hope that helps
Hi phil,I am having an issue, I get PNG files from people and when I put them in Photoshop it shows they are PNG 300dpi, but when I print onto the flim they are a little blury with slightly jaggered edges? is there a way of fixing these up? I'm very much a beginner in photoshop so at this stage its not really an option for me to fiddle with them. Is there a software that could fix this for me or do you have a video I could watch to help with this issue?
Hey Brett, Kittl is great for designing but there are some limitations with print quality. Most of the time its been good enough to print with but if you want vector quality, you'll need to take it outside of kittl and use other programs to clean/upscale the artwork furthur. Look for a free image upscale program. We use tools but they are paid subscription.
@@transfersuperstars Thank you for the reply, can you recommend any decent programs? with subscription or without, the PNG'S look good in photoshop, but as i said when printed I get slight blur and jaggered edges
I have Kittl but mine says “resolution” instead of DPI . So I’m afraid if i change the resolution to 300 in order to download my images it won’t work when i print them

We use various programs from adobe to different rips. Kittl is just a design tool to help folks that have limited design knowledge. There are pros and cons to each program used.

Kittl is changing credits for the pro plan from 30 per day to 200 per month… we can do math…so they’re changing it from 900 credits per month done to 200. What a joke. If they are going to reduce the AI credits by that much, the cost of a plan should also go down by that much. I will be canceling my subscription soon and looking for a reasonable priced AI image generator. I’m not gonna pay this price monthly for a sub par image vectorizer and some clip art… They have a cool concept but they are being greedy. Good luck on their new business model.

Thank you so much for the kind words. It helps us keep creating.
I love your channel. I love hour you compare presses. Please keep doing what you do. You have the best channel for the t-shirt business.

Thanks bro this was a huge help i just started using kittl this week. can we get a follow up video showing what you did in adobe?
We did not do much in adobe. We only used adobe illustrator here to build the gangsheets and export in our proper CMYK color profiles.
@@transfersuperstars thanks for the quick response 👍🏿

Quick question when you export for example 10 width by 12 height. Are u exporting by the design size or the artboard
It exports by artboard. If you aren't sure of your exact print size, I would recommend exporting at the largest size possible. You can always resize down rather and stretching it.
@transfersuperstars Thanks for the feedback & I'll keep that in mind
This is perfect for dtf!

I know people always have issues when printing white ffffff. What white color code would you suggesting when designing in RGB?

Resolution and DPI is the same, go ahead and choose 300 dpi when exporting.
When you took the artwork from kittle into photoshop, was that just to create the gang sheet or did you rework the art please?
Is to gangsheet only.
bro when i remove background i always get that black square not transparent one so what i do tell me
try going to your layers and clicking off the background or changing colors.
What type of Papper used to print the design ? How can print design on that Papper ?
We use DTF film, not paper. You will need a DTF printer in order to print t-shirt designs on DTF Film.
Do we need to do a vector file while printing for dtf?
vector is best but if the resolution is high than it should print fine with DTF. 300dpi is recommended.
How do you put white under base?

Why I can’t subscribe kittl plans by Mastercard??
I don't see why not. What is it saying?
U can remove the background it would take that gradient away
We download the images with the background removed but it doesn't take away the gradient effect, that is different from the actual background.
Cant get white to print ??
White prints fine.

why did you resize it you gave no reason the time was10:59 when talking about it
We always try to export as a bigger file to retain quality. It is better to shrink than to enlarge. Hope that helps
