- Welcome back to another Peak District video! Finally I've brought the camera along to one of my camps! I decided to keep this first wild camp video a local one and headed to my local woodland. I end up finding a gem of a spot in the heart of the woods which made for a perfect spot to shelter me from the elements and spend the night. I hope you enjoy this wild camp video and I can't wait to bring more wild camp videos to the channel throughout the year!

Really nice video Alex. I'm high functioning ADHD so outside is what I'm designed for and I always feel the stresses of daily life float away when I'm living in the moment with nature. Looking forward to more videos

I really enjoyed this video, it was so relaxing looking at the beautiful trees and listening to the soothing music. There is such a lot of lovely scenery in the Peak District and you were lucky to find that camping space, tucked away (mostly) from the elements.

Hi Alex! Been looking forward to this as you know! Contrary to your concerns at the end of your video, I thought this was brilliant and very cohesive. You have now added wild camping to your portfolio of outdoor activities 👍 Fantastic little spot you found, beautiful woodland. Great rundown on your kit too. The drone footage was great. I know what you mean regarding the noise of rain and trying to sleep! I used to take a decent pair of earplugs for such occasions! Really loved this video and found it very relaxing to watch too. Just the thing for a Sunday evening after a busy day. Really looking forward to the next one 😃💯

Edit: I actually have very similar hiking and backpacking gear than you do :) I was smiling when you showed what you took, almost the same I did for Höga Kusten hike in summer

Hi Alex, great video. I’m quite tall as well (6ft3) have always struggled finding tents that I find comfortable length ways. What’s the tent like length wise in this video like?
