About that wierd Morrigan hand, I wonder if people at Capcom saw this and actually included it in the game, sort of. In DS3 (or Vampire Savior) Lilith does a throw in which she shapes her wings as a bow and a big hand that uses the opponent as an arrow.
You could have retitled the video and put a 3/3 on the title. Have the joke be you worked on the video for 9 years :P

For real it's surprising they actually got away with the Felicia design in this cartoon, it's probably one of the more revealing designs I've seen in a 90s American cartoon. Plus it's interesting to see the altered design for Hsien-Ko is actually more revealing than canon.

Could be they were barely given time and budget to do anything and had to work on other projects beside, which would explain the hostility.
Or they were forced to do stupid shit by people in charge while not being allowed to deviate from the source material much.
Which may not be abad thing cause if you don't have people reining the creatives in sometimes, you end up with the Lion Furry episode of Megaman.

I am just depressed that Darkstalkers hasn't gotten any attention outside of crossovers.
Not Applicable I’d like to see a new entry but Capcom’s Fighting Game department is a dumpster fire right now despite improvements to SFV.
Capcom has fixed Resident Evil & Devil May Cry, & Monster Hunter has finally gained more success worldwide compared to back when it was just “that game sold out PSPs in Japan And was a big hit later on the 3DS with that weird second dual thumb stick adapter before the NEW 3DS was created”.
But they still haven’t fixed their fighting game department.

Japanese: Most boring story but it looks good i guess
I, actually, liked the first two episodes of the Japanese miniseries (its 'Humanity is screwed' storyline aside). ^_^
The last two (lighthearted) episodes, not so much. -_- Still, to each their own. ^_^
Then again, after seeing Morrigan's hand change size, I'm wondering if a show called *Mindless Garbage* would entertain its (mature) target audience.
With no limitations/shortage of (often bizarre) fanservice, I could see this gaining a following on *[Adult Swim]* or even a streaming service like *Netflix*.
Weirdness and (well-written) women for the win. ^_^
Well the actual good thing about this cartoon is that they actual gave Morgan her accent that most people didn't know she had or gave her until Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.
She kinda had it in MvC3, you just only heard it in about two of her win quotes.
I'm MvC3 her accent either changed or flatout disappeared.
We don't talk about MVC Infinite.

They didn't look that much older when the things stayed on model. Though that might just be the designers trying to keep to their ages. Both are adult women that have been around for centuries in the games. Even though the games also depict them as being barely in their early 20s.

i mean, she was just a little ball of leftover power or something that was extracted from Morrigan at birth, and Jedah only gave her a body like a few months or so before the events of Vampire Savior, so...

Fun Fact: The kind of undead Hsien-Ko is would specifically be referred to as a Jiangshi.
That's one of many errors that occured in the review. It really shows that Pizza Time here is more familiar with the Internet Horror Picture Show than anything.

A Jiangshi *is* a Chinese vampire
Hsien-ko or Lei-Lei as thats her original name in the japanese version is actually the entity that the two sister create, the story is that a monster attack their village killing the father and eating their mother (so most likely was demitri), the sisters run away, and they try to make a forbidden ritual to take revenge, but the ghost of their mother appears to both girls and stop then because the ritual is too dangerous, so the girls make another ritual that trasnform them in Hsien-ko so they can hunt the monster that destroy their life and take revenge, and yeah the monster that they become is pretty much a Jiang-shi... but with a hammer space to fight with infinite weapons
@@jeffblacklight104 that revenge pretty much went away when true ending is trying beat last boss, they failed and the man himself Donovan most OP character in the game had to save the day, this guy is so broken omg, but great character the darkstalkers OVAs were amazing, to bad you didn't see most the characters but really i didn't care for ghoul, victor, bb hood, etc.

hi score girl is truly a blessed series. love the love for classic street fighter 2 and made me feel like a kid again when the MC got to see the "new" super street fighter 2 opening with ryu bouncing back and forth ready to fight with the killer music. man what a great show.

Also in the games she's never depicted as evil, she's usually depicted as not really caring about either side, but she does need humans to keep living just for the sake of her own survival. She also is definitely opposed to Demitri in everything but the cartoon, and Demitri is definitely a badman.
@@WraxTV In the opening scenes, it is usually Donovan, (The main protaganist) holding Morrigan in a defeated type pose, suggesting that he defeated her. Donovan's main goal is to wipe out all the evil and destroy Pyron. So i guess it just might be the context or the game version your playing, but i really cant tell if she is evil now. Morrigan took the role of protagonist of the Darkstalkers series, due to her popularity. So i guess it could go either way.
@@godthegods8998 Donovan doesn't discriminate. If you are a Darkstalker, he wants you cut in half. The intro to Night Warriors shows that he holds Raptor, a legit mass murderer, to the same standard as Felicia, a girl literally raised by a nun who only wants everyone to get along.
Also, that scene of Donovan holding Morrigan's head came from the console release of Vampire Savior, or Vampire Hunter 2 in arcades. His appearance in Vampire Savior/VH2 is non-canon. At the end of Vampire Hunter, he sacrificed his humanity to save Anita, and by Vampire Savior, he'd gone full vampire.

I vaguely remember playing one of the games on ps1 and calling Morrigan "the bat girl."
As far as I remember, I think there was a big push by Capcom to revive the Darkstalkers franchise at one point, though those plans kinda died when Darkstalkers Resurrection didn't live up to sales.
As a Darkstalkers fan I try to forget this show even existed but now the images of are poorly seeped into my brain again thanks to you Rebeltaxi

@@sarafontanini7051 I think he always turns Morrigan into an ugly crone because he absolutely loathes her. Because usually Dimitiri turns males into attractive bent gender versions of themselves and turns females into more cutesy/kawaii versions of themselves.
The level of pride they take in their work really shows why there's such a difference between the Night Warriors OVA and the Darkstalkers TV series.
And this is coming from someone who thinks the OVA is vastly overrated by the fandom. Even with all the problems I have with it, I highly doubt the staff would ever look back on the experience the same way the TV series guys do.

Oooh, fun fact; a video about that anime is in my recommended feed. I also often said that Doogal, the American version of Magic Roundabout, is Ghost Stories done wrong. Doogal is an Americanization which plays it safe and lazy, while Ghost Stories is an Americanization of something boring, but it's more inspired by early South Park, I believe. And that's what makes it pretty fun. It's like a reverse 4kids. While 4kids edit out guns like ET, these guys add in more swearing and adult pop culture references. I doubt the Japanese version ever used the phrase "RUN! SHE'S A GHOST *AND* A BITCH!"

1. Cow and Chicken was awful.
2. Captain Planet was tone deaf
3. Aahhh!!! Real monsters was kind of substanceless and cliche
4. That one sonic sez show is wretched
5. Basically 90% of the movie spinoffs like Ace Ventura were bleh and the Disney ones frequently retroactively made the original movie worse
6. I watched a review of hammerman, than I watched it out of curiosity, the animation was an eye sore and the narcissism was bleeding.
7. Similar to that one Little Pet shot spin off, I found clips myself and it's horribly cliche and wonky. Just kind of mean, sad, badly animated and embarassing.
8. Incredible Hulk from the 90s was wonky plot wise.

10. Super mario super show was so bad it was good.
11. Catdog is kind of mean but the premise is disgusting.
12. Mega babies... Oh god...
I don't feel like I need to go into any of the old mlp shows.
13. Dragon tales was a let down when I was a small tat.
14. Anything called "the new adventures of" is generally bad aside from Batman, Batman new adventures was good.
15. Spiderman unlimited was just kind of a weird unrelatable chaos.
16. Swamp thing would have been passably mediocre if not for "swamp thing, you are amazing"
17. I was a big pinkie and the brain fan, so elmyra ruined it.
18. Tex avery was one I have not seen, but it was a literal insult to an animator so I don't care to.
19. Pup named scooby doo was bad even by scooby doo standards imo.
20. Toxic crudaders was a gooft show with stiff animation. The subject matter was edgy as fuck so that's a failure.
21. Rocket power is everything wrong with the 90s.
22. Yo yogi is the room of 90s shows. Reviewers should appreciate it's ironically terrible value more. But it's still terrible.
23. Shnookums and Meat, I checked it out to see if it was just a poor man's ren and stimpy. It is. I didn't even like ren and stimpy or rugrats to make it 25.
A bunch of other shit I've never seen before and a bunch of shit I like.
Also keep in mind there were a few categories in here that probably would have raised it to 35 or so.

We are reaching the point where TH-camrs' old deleted videos are considered lost media.
Remember when Chuggaaconroy uploaded dozens of videos of Pokémon Platinum, then deleted all of them and people kept begging him to reupload while they desperately searched any traces of them online? I think there's a page on Lost Media wiki for this.
Reminds of when BHD has to remove most of his old videos when TH-cam went after his ass. Some of his videos have been reuploaded but not all of them.😢
I remember the 90's DartkStalkers anime more then this. This reminds me of the massive difference between the cartoon version they made and the anime version that came out, like the Sailor moon one or the Street Fighter one. I will always remember Megaman Wish upon a Star(also a 90's) as a decent ova anime thing but the cartoon intro for the cartoon was catchy so there's that haha

This kind of thing is one of the best things to point to when you have to explain the difference between anime and cartoons. Compare the art styles, and the difference is staronger than night and day.

This game series really needs more love. It's actually pretty deece.
Felicia with ghost-white skin and lipstick really just doesn't work. It's amazing how two simple changes can turn one of the hottest videogame characters into one of the ugliest cartoon ones.
