It's like how some bandits decide to ambush the dovahkiin after watching him/her killing a dragon in skyrim.
Keep doing this. Darkstalkers needs more recognition.
Fun fact to add on: Did you know she has a last name in Japan? It's incredibly obscure and little-known, but one official source once revealed her full name as Lei-Lei Shao.

She is a very interesting character i always liked playing her.Her claws make her look cute and in pocket fighters even cuter :)

I saw this character as a child when playing games at arcade and i think she legitimately inspired a ton of things I ended up making later in a creative sense, I just remember child me thinking the fact she can throw all those cool weapons and has giant mechanical claws was one of the coolest things I have ever seen (and adult me still agrees)
Hands down, she's my favorite of all the Darkstalkers.
I love Hsien-ko so much she's so adorable and cute, I've been mostly playing as her on UMVC3 along with Mike Haggar and Sir Arthur. :)
Hsien-Ko is definitely one of Capcom's best ever designs. My 3rd Favorite Darkstalker (Behind Morrigan & Jedah) And I was so hyped when she made the MvC3 roster...only to soon learn she was garbage outside of Gold Armor assist :( lol!
Best character design ever
Hsiem Ko apparently is popular enough that Street Fighter created a fighter similar in appearance to her. He is known as F.A.N.G.
While everybody was crowded over and playing Mortal Kombat in my local arcade, Darkstalkers was always open and with me on it. Hsien-ko and Rikuo were my two favorites. I played as BB Hood from time to time to try and do her special, which I never could figure out. Now I have this game for my psp with Hsien-ko still remaining as my favorite and Felicia replacing Rikuo as my other new favorite.
So glad i found these videos. Have grown a great appreciation for darkstalkers.
Still wish Hsien-Ko was brought back in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.
Although I am pretty new to fighting games and therefore have never played Darkstalkers, I absolutely adore the character of Hsien-Ko and am thankful that she exists since she is almost certainly the main inspiration for another favourite character of mine - this time one that I *have* played, namely Squigly from Skullgirls. If Darkstalkers were to get a big Killer Instinct style revival I would almost certainly main jiangshi waifu.
Hsien-Ko became one of my favorites after playing her in MvC3. I didn't know about Darkstalkers and seeing how fun she was to play on that game made me look up her, Felicia and Morrigan's games. I also liked how she and Mei had a crush on Thor in MvC3.
I want more Hsein-Ko
This series is beyond fantastic! Being a scrub who's only really played Darkstalkers 3, but a diehard fan none-the-less, these videos are infinitely entertaining as they as are informative.

Having come to learn more about Hsien-Ko and being obsessed at how much I love her, and by extension Mei-Ling, I really would love if somehow in the future, she could make it into Smash Bros. Considering her quirky playstyle, I really feel it would be cool to how she would translate into a platform fighter.

Always has been and always will be my favorite character.
Hsien-Ko's design is so sexy and beautiful, and is right there with Felicia and Morrigan for me in terms of sex appeal. She's heavily underrated in that aspect.
Plus, she has a cute personality and demeanor, which makes her doubly as likeable.
YO gotta tell ya this character and this word"Jiang shi" ,in chinese we call (殭Jiang屍shi) and it means zombie.even those zombies from resident evil, we also call them jiang shi,so it's not like chinese vampire, it's chinese zombie. and there are several old movies about Jiang shi if you are interested in you can search 殭屍.
Hsien-ko and her sister both been through a lot.

Actually Jiangshis are vampires, zombies, and ghosts all together the hop around and has their hands out like a zombie, they summon spirits like ghost and when she stops movie and she moves her head in a circle like she is possessed, and vampire her skin and her claws

Her giant metal claws scare me but she’s cute by the face and by the body lol
While I do wish to Felicia next, I know alot of other media has basically tarnished her character quite a bit (Looking at you Udon) so, for the hell of it, I say let's go with arguably one of the most interesting characters in the Darkstalkers universe, Jedah Dohma.

I wish Capcom would release a Darkstalkers Game for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita and 3DS with graphics and Gameplay from Super Street Fighter 4/Street Fighter 5/MvC3.

I have to yet get UMVC3 but it saddens me ton to hear she's the worst character in the game, considering how much I like her compared to other Darkstalkers. Still, she's plenty out there, which is really nice~
I also wish they'd give more use to Mei Ling in the future, preferably in the crossover stuff as I think she'd be interesting to explore further in means of character (even if you can play her as an alt for Hsien-Ko via now-gone DLC for UMVC3.)
After all, the OVAs and the games made her feel quite badass too, though more in the mental, collected fashion.
Also I liked the crossover canon insertion that she's a big fan of Arthur of Ghosts 'n' Goblins-fame. Wish they also made some thing out that she'd be a rival to Dante of DMC-fame. Or maybe these partners in the job.

Another game where Jiangshi's have appeared in that I can think of is Sly Cooper 3. There was this one mission where you had to go through waves of praying mantis enemies who resemble them.

I only love her in Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo then Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 but didn't know Night Warriors at the time which that's her first game which is cool. I guess missed out alot from her in other games. I hope they make more Darkstalkers games or least have her own game like a adventure game or something we need more games of her or Darkstalkers.

so that's what happen to her after Metal Gear Solid 4, she became a Darkstalker
