I would like to nominate the Telltale Sam and Max games. This is like a Scott Pilgrim case in which they’re technically a comic series but got a show later. Brilliant video Strider. Did you know that the Family Guy game was actually made by Heavy Iron Studios, the same company who made the old 2000s Spongebob games on the PS2? I'm surprised you didn't talk about Shrek SuperSlam, Jackie Chan Adventures and possibly even more animation games. It turns out the company for The Simpsons Hit and Run are massive fans of the show. A really cool fun fact too about the Spongebob games: Through speaking with former THQ staff, The Heavy Iron Studios actually watched all the episodes heavily back then and cherrypicked what elements would be put into the games. It turns out that these games were so beloved by fans, they actually made them want to become part of the gaming industry. They even get fanmail every day.
@@phantomstrider I think ScrewAttack is not as good as we remembered in the 2010s because they make Ramona Flowers look weak compared to Amy Rose by making Ramona lose no matter how much she tried to fight against her. I guess ScrewAttack thinks yanderes are better than badasses. That and they made Zelda look weak compared to Princess Peach, something only the Feminist Frequenct fandom likes.
Fun Fact: There was a Cancelled Sonic Game based off the Sonic SatAM Cartoon where Sonic can throw rings as an attack. However, Yugi Naka said no because Sonic looked too slow and were just trying to figure out Sonics character. They didn't want to do anything too different yet
Toy story 2 was my childhood. The N64 version was downgraded with looped recreations of the ost and had no fmvs from the movie. However it was pretty solid. It also had a PC version and was released on the dreamcast in 2000. Great list

Hell yeah I'd love to see a Toy Story 2 remaster! Course, considering the game also came out on N64, I'd love to see it get ported to multiple systems, like PC, XSX, and the Switch! Plus, I think Toys For Bob would do this game justice...and it'd be a punny excuse to say that a game about toys was made by toys. XD
Kung Fu Panda had a really fun DS game. It was a platformer where you used the stylus to move and to attack. For every animal you met you learned a new kung fu move that you activated by drawing it on the touchpad.
I literally cannot begin to tell you how many hours I’ve put into 3 of the bratz games on ps2. They’re so poorly made but I definitely don’t see how it’s the worst. Honestly one of my favorite game series. I mean maybe since you’re an older guy not a young girl I guess LMAO
Welcome back, Strider!! I hope you broke that burnout curse! I played the 1st FG game but getting into the 2nd one would be a hassle considering how the show is now. I'd also consider Rugrats Scavenger Hunt, The Simpsons Game (DS), Biker Mice from Mars (both games), and The Simpsons Road Rage as an Honorable Mention. And Rudolph for the Wii as the absolute abomination! Alongside the ReBoot game; aside from the awesome cutscenes.
I remember reading and finishing the Scott pilgrim comics before lockdown and overall loving the art style characters and references and the game carries that love into its gameplay and look. Nice to see it finally rereleased again and the movie is a very loveable classic check Scott pilgrim out it’s a great series
I grew up playing Toy Story 2 and was hoping to see it- and of course it’s number one! I loved this game because of how much there was to do in it, it felt like the Lego games but with toy story. I would absolutely love a remake for the switch etc. Because this game still holds up to this day. Great video as always!

Not gonna lie, I genuinely love the Bratz ps2 games lmao. As a young autistic kid who was INCREDIBLY into bratz (the animated movies, the dolls, the games, etc) being able to explore that universe and dress up the characters however I wanted was a lot of fun! I remember there being a makeup mechanic where you got to draw the makeup on the girls, but considering how I was playing it on a ps2… applying lipstick cleanly was near impossible lmao I think for the game you just had to be there. Where they perfect games? Not at all. Did I play them for hours and hours on end? Absolutely. Do I look back at the games with great fondness? 100%
I remember playing the shark tale game and really liking some of the different game styles. Especially the fighting sections. The dancing sections were brutal for kid me though

You can’t blame the Smurf game for the songs, it’s a really old concept which has existed in 90’s. My grandparents usually plays it during car rides with their younger grandchildren, but I’ve never seen anybody actually enjoying it.

There's a lot of these that I haven't played for good reasons (I STILL haven't owned or played Spongebob Squarepants; Battle for Bikini Bottom), but the fact that Shrek 2 and Toy Story 2 made the BEST list says something about your judgement and taste in gaming! I STILL play these games to this day!!! I do personally think that Over the Hedge, Monsters Inc. Scream Team/Scare Island, Madagascar, Lilo and Stitch (PS1 and/or PC as Trouble in Paradise), Donald Duck Goin Quackers, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Toy Story 3, Up, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Stuart Little 2, Tarzan, and Tigger's Honey Hunt are all masterpieces IMO. If I could, I would rank these with you so we could get our opinions out there!

Toy Story 2??? HOLY SHIT!!! That game was MY CHILDHOOD!!! In fact, I loved this game so much that I was completely devastated when my father destroyed my PS1 disc back in 2007... I really loved this game and wanted to have it back which was impossible because we had no Amazon or Ebay back in the day, not to mention that this game wasn't available in the gaming stores anymore... But luckily, after 13 years, I was able to play that game once again via an N64 emulator on my smartphone and an Xbox one controller. Yeah, some things were missing like the cutscenes from the movie and the OST was in comparison to the PlayStation version pretty mediocre... but you cannot imagine how happy I was to be able to play the game again. Like I said earlier, Toy Story 2 for the PS1 as well as the Toy Story franchise as a whole was my childhood. Thank you Phantomstrider for putting it onto #1. 10/10 Points👍👍👍
I played it a lot too though on PC. A lot of N64 ports were not that great. The architecture and capabilities of the N64 were just vastly different from the PS1. So different that porting was almost impossible. Many 'ports' on N64 that look similar to their PS1 counterparts are actually extremely different in terms of coding. So different that it can be considered a completely different game.
• That Shrek game kind reminds me of Angela Anaconda, especially Fiona. • Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse was a part of my childhood! I loved the Alien-inspired level so much! • With the Bratz games (I only played one, but I don't remember which one), I loved it when I was little, but I know I wouldn't like it now. Brilliant video Strider. Did you know that the Family Guy game was actually made by Heavy Iron Studios, the same company who made the old 2000s Spongebob games on the PS2? I'm surprised you didn't talk about Shrek SuperSlam, Jackie Chan Adventures and possibly even more animation games. It turns out the company for The Simpsons Hit and Run are massive fans of the show. A really cool fun fact too about the Spongebob games: Through speaking with former THQ staff, The Heavy Iron Studios actually watched all the episodes heavily back then and cherrypicked what elements would be put into the games. It turns out that these games were so beloved by fans, they actually made them want to become part of the gaming industry. They even get fanmail every day.

@@phantomstrider I think ScrewAttack is not as good as we remembered in the 2010s because they make Ramona Flowers look weak compared to Amy Rose by making Ramona lose no matter how much she tried to fight against her.
I guess ScrewAttack thinks yanderes are better than badasses.
That and they made Zelda look weak compared to Princess Peach, something only the Feminist Frequenct fandom likes.
Fun Fact: There was a Cancelled Sonic Game based off the Sonic SatAM Cartoon where Sonic can throw rings as an attack. However, Yugi Naka said no because Sonic looked too slow and were just trying to figure out Sonics character. They didn't want to do anything too different yet

Toy story 2 was my childhood. The N64 version was downgraded with looped recreations of the ost and had no fmvs from the movie. However it was pretty solid. It also had a PC version and was released on the dreamcast in 2000. Great list

Hell yeah I'd love to see a Toy Story 2 remaster! Course, considering the game also came out on N64, I'd love to see it get ported to multiple systems, like PC, XSX, and the Switch! Plus, I think Toys For Bob would do this game justice...and it'd be a punny excuse to say that a game about toys was made by toys. XD

Kung Fu Panda had a really fun DS game. It was a platformer where you used the stylus to move and to attack. For every animal you met you learned a new kung fu move that you activated by drawing it on the touchpad.
I honestly love the Family Guy original video game. It just feels like a love letter to the first four seasons of the show.
Seasons 5 and 6 are good too.

I’m sorry to say… I grew up playing Bratz Forever Diamondz (GameCube) when visiting my grandparents’ house… and I actually enjoyed it.
I literally cannot begin to tell you how many hours I’ve put into 3 of the bratz games on ps2. They’re so poorly made but I definitely don’t see how it’s the worst. Honestly one of my favorite game series. I mean maybe since you’re an older guy not a young girl I guess LMAO

Welcome back, Strider!! I hope you broke that burnout curse! I played the 1st FG game but getting into the 2nd one would be a hassle considering how the show is now. I'd also consider Rugrats Scavenger Hunt, The Simpsons Game (DS), Biker Mice from Mars (both games), and The Simpsons Road Rage as an Honorable Mention. And Rudolph for the Wii as the absolute abomination! Alongside the ReBoot game; aside from the awesome cutscenes.
I remember reading and finishing the Scott pilgrim comics before lockdown and overall loving the art style characters and references and the game carries that love into its gameplay and look. Nice to see it finally rereleased again and the movie is a very loveable classic check Scott pilgrim out it’s a great series

I grew up playing Toy Story 2 and was hoping to see it- and of course it’s number one! I loved this game because of how much there was to do in it, it felt like the Lego games but with toy story. I would absolutely love a remake for the switch etc. Because this game still holds up to this day. Great video as always!

Not gonna lie, I genuinely love the Bratz ps2 games lmao. As a young autistic kid who was INCREDIBLY into bratz (the animated movies, the dolls, the games, etc) being able to explore that universe and dress up the characters however I wanted was a lot of fun! I remember there being a makeup mechanic where you got to draw the makeup on the girls, but considering how I was playing it on a ps2… applying lipstick cleanly was near impossible lmao
I think for the game you just had to be there. Where they perfect games? Not at all. Did I play them for hours and hours on end? Absolutely. Do I look back at the games with great fondness? 100%

You can’t blame the Smurf game for the songs, it’s a really old concept which has existed in 90’s. My grandparents usually plays it during car rides with their younger grandchildren, but I’ve never seen anybody actually enjoying it.

I'd remembered playing Family Guy Back to the Multiverse it was a FUN Game to play on the XBOX 360 that was based on the series of Family Guy
Man, Scott Pilgrim vs the World was my favorite game on my Play Station 3, my favorite part was the soundtrack, it was hard, but it was absolutely amazing. X)

There's a lot of these that I haven't played for good reasons (I STILL haven't owned or played Spongebob Squarepants; Battle for Bikini Bottom), but the fact that Shrek 2 and Toy Story 2 made the BEST list says something about your judgement and taste in gaming! I STILL play these games to this day!!! I do personally think that Over the Hedge, Monsters Inc. Scream Team/Scare Island, Madagascar, Lilo and Stitch (PS1 and/or PC as Trouble in Paradise), Donald Duck Goin Quackers, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Toy Story 3, Up, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Stuart Little 2, Tarzan, and Tigger's Honey Hunt are all masterpieces IMO. If I could, I would rank these with you so we could get our opinions out there!
Ice Age 2 was good and so was Scream Team,Buzz to The Rescue,Over The Hedge is meh and everything else ok.

Family guy bttm is a highly underappreciated game and I love it to death, I still have it
Toy Story 2??? HOLY SHIT!!! That game was MY CHILDHOOD!!! In fact, I loved this game so much that I was completely devastated when my father destroyed my PS1 disc back in 2007... I really loved this game and wanted to have it back which was impossible because we had no Amazon or Ebay back in the day, not to mention that this game wasn't available in the gaming stores anymore...
But luckily, after 13 years, I was able to play that game once again via an N64 emulator on my smartphone and an Xbox one controller. Yeah, some things were missing like the cutscenes from the movie and the OST was in comparison to the PlayStation version pretty mediocre... but you cannot imagine how happy I was to be able to play the game again. Like I said earlier, Toy Story 2 for the PS1 as well as the Toy Story franchise as a whole was my childhood. Thank you Phantomstrider for putting it onto #1. 10/10 Points👍👍👍
I played it a lot too though on PC.
A lot of N64 ports were not that great. The architecture and capabilities of the N64 were just vastly different from the PS1. So different that porting was almost impossible. Many 'ports' on N64 that look similar to their PS1 counterparts are actually extremely different in terms of coding. So different that it can be considered a completely different game.
• That Shrek game kind reminds me of Angela Anaconda, especially Fiona.
• Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse was a part of my childhood! I loved the Alien-inspired level so much!
• With the Bratz games (I only played one, but I don't remember which one), I loved it when I was little, but I know I wouldn't like it now. Honestly, the only reason I would play it again is for nostalgia. Though that game made me find a song I liked, "I Won't Stop" (a Bratz song, but I still love it)

YES to the #5 best! I would never stop playing that game if I got bored. EVERY Brian and Stewie episode (save for a few like the pregnancy episode) is magic and when they travel together, the chaos is hilarious.
