  • Keto Egg roll in a bowl and breakfast tortilla trend is on the menu today and if you don’t know who Beatrice Caruso is, you are missing out! She set out to lose 100 pounds and is documenting her weight loss journey here on TH-cam. Sarah and I came across her channel several months ago and binged watched all of her videos… It's because of Beatrice Caruso that we decided to try the Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred! Her videos and personality are down to Earth and hilarious and we just love every video that she publishes! She has tried a variety of diets and exercise challenges to lose weight so far but imagine our delight when we saw that she recently announced that she was trying keto!     I love listening to you two talk. I’m binge watching your videos and appreciate your points of view. It’s surprising the very similar feelings shared by so many. I’ve been very big most of life and only now at 56 I’m in for keeps with keto. Been off and on for two years.

    I tried the scrambled eggs you made..so good. They came out velvety instead of dry. And I put it in the tortilla hack with a turkey egg sausage patty and pepper jack cheese... sooooo freaking good.. reminded me of the egg sausage cheese croissant from Dunkin Donuts. Thanks

    It's true. You need to make exercise a habit. I HATED exercising. Hated it! I started small, like very small. I started by doing 1 mile with Leslie Sansone (free on YT). I loved her energy and her personality. I added way more now, and I really can't stop. I rarely take a day off. A day off for me now is "Oh, I'm just going to walk 2 miles today 'cause I dont' feel like it". I now alternate between 4-5 miles (Leslie Sansone), Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, and Achv Peak (3x per week, resistance bands). I feel awesome after the exercise. Always think of how you feel after you exercised. I never regret working out, even when I don't feel like it. I usually feel way better 5 minutes into the workout :) The exercise is not for weight loss, it's to be healthy and gain or maintain muscle mass. Love you guys and I hope you find exercise you can learn to enjoy, that's what's important! :)

    You ladies help motivate me! I'm lazy, too. Maybe it would be fun for you to try some exercise videos from the past. (Like the ones I used to do back in the day.) Richard Simmons, Denise Austin, 20 Minute Workout come to mind. I even remember my mom exercising with Jack LaLanne. I've got some dusty Sweatin' to the Oldies I might dig out...but I don't want to. I just need to get started on something! 😊

    I agree with the exercise comment. My Dr told me you lose weight in the kitchen and gain muscle in the gym. I hate exercising and I'm lazy too and I've lost 135 lbs doing low carb and keto without any exercise. I can commit to keto eating but not exercise. Lol. Love you two to pieces.     Love your channel! Easy to follow and I like for someone else to test keto recipes and products to see if they are keto- carb worthy. Don’t want to spend them on something that doesn’t taste great!!!
    I found out about cut d carb on your channel after my husband and I had been on keto a year. They r a great pizza crust solution and hands down make the best keto crustI
    I would like for you guys to try the keto waffle I found on their channel where she tears up half a sheet of cut d carb and blends it with eggs, chia seeds, baking powder and several other ingredients. Thx in advance!!
    I also would love for you guys to try making a dessert ‘egg roll’ filled with sugar free cherry pie filling and drizzled with white or dark chocolate.
    I too love Beatrice. She makes me laugh almost as much as you guys do.
    Hope this gives you some ideas. And thx for making keto a lot easier.

    I so enjoy your videos! You are both so funny and compliment one another so well! I also did not exercise for the first 1.5 years after starting Keto. I hated exercising. However, I started doing 5 minutes a day. That was all I could commit to. I am still exercising a year later, 5-15 minutes per day 5-6 days per week. I watch the channel - Fabulous 50's as her workouts are easy to accomplish. My attention span and motivation is minimal. However, 5 minutes is easy to commit to and it has made a difference! Thank you for motivating me for the new year!

    Coming from someone that never exercised at all, I found that I enjoyed dancing. Belly dancing specifically. Kick boxing was pretty fun, too. I had to break the mold in my head that claimed exercise involved equipment and boring routines "I pick things up, I put them down".😝 Maybe branch out and try some different things? Maybe a sport, shoot even bowling requires upper body strength and core stability. Actually you'd be surprised how many muscles engage just standing on one leg. I often stand on 1 leg while cooking and my core always feels it the next day. And a shimmy burns roughly 600 calories and hour, I shimmy while brushing teeth or folding laundry.
    Just a thought, loves y'all!

    Emily, you've got to try rebounding! I just bought a cheap one and bounce for 20 minutes in the morning. Love it! And I'm not into exercising either. It's really popular right now and super easy. I'd think the ones with bungee cords would be funner but the cheap ones have springs, and it's still fun! Like when I was a kid.

    May I suggest an exercise? I have a rebounder, it’s a mini trampoline. There are lots of TH-cam videos about using one. It intensifies your exercise. 5 minutes on the mini trampoline is as effective as 3x or 6x (I forget which) the amount of time running. And it’s actually fun. The benefits are really wonderful. The trampoline takes up very little space. I keep mine on my porch.

    I’m with you two about not exercising. I start, get lazy, stop, start up again after many, many months of doing nothing. Well a new year for me (again😀) and I’ve started up again the beginning of the second week of January. I’m not too far along (hehehe) but I’ve been consistent with my resistance bands. Getting stronger in my back and core. My smallish arms have great muscles in them already but geez since the pandemic I see under arm flab so toning those up now. It sure is hard staying motivated!

    I am just like you girls, I hate exercising and I can loss a lot of weight without exercising. The only time I was good about “exercising” is when I cleaned houses. I realized I will move my body when I’m getting paid 🤣 I used to call my housekeeping my “paid workout”. Cleaning houses is like straight cardio for hours. I was eating Ben and Jerry’s and burgers with the bun and fries and I still lost 13 lbs that summer. But I cleaned a 4,000 square foot house. It took my 6hours to clean, so that was 6 hours of exercising 🤪

One of my goals for the new year was to do at least 5 minutes of exercise for 21 days every month of 2021. I know 5 minutes isn't much, but I figure it's getting into the habit of doing it.     I love you guys! Tried many of your delicious recipes. I just made the most amazing faux " potato" salad recipe from Low carb love. It was incredible! Honestly you cannot tell that it was made from cauliflower. I have to say, that recipe was the best substitute for the food I miss. Highly suggest you try it. 😁😋

    I know first hand living in a cold climate presents challenges but a 10,000 steps per day for a week is a thought. Since you both have dogs their daily walks could count towards your totals and you can use a step tracker or smart watch to stay on track. Whatever you decide I'm sure it will be entertaining.     Lucy Wyndham-Read has amazing TH-cam videos! From 3 min to 40 min workouts, prob over 1,000 videos. She’s from the UK, a military veteran, and she just turned 50 (and she looks half her age). Highly recommend her

    Hey girls! Just a random idea, but how about Keto around the world?!! You guys could do a full day of Indian keto meals or British, Mexican,Chinese etc. Or even regional like Southern fried chicken, Louisiana Creole, Memphis BBQ.. And just make that a 'around the world/ US series'.

      Sarah mainly edits, although I am beginning to take some of it on because it takes about 20 hours to edit a video of ours because we are new 😬 hopefully it gets faster as we learn lol! -Em

    I agree with you about exercise, even as a kid I hated it. You can loose weight on keto without it. I know. it would be better for me but I can’t make that commitment at this stage of life. I’m now 70.

    Ok you gotta please give a link to the hypnosis video! I gotta see this video. Once again ladies, you've have knocked it outta the park this video! And I live in the Great State of Georgia, home to Chickfila, and you cannot get that Christian chicken on a Sunday. There was one exception made to the Sunday closed rule that I am aware of, a manager of a Chickfila in a town heard about a kid that was going thru chemo and had to isolate. The kid loved Chickfila. The manager reached out to the Mother and arranged for the child to come on a Sunday and eat and play as long as she wanted. The manager personally sanitized the playground and the eating area. Then personally prepared the food for the child and her family. The manager did all this at no charge to the family and sent them home with any food they wanted takeout. I want to say it was somewhere in NC.
    I'll make a deal with you, keep making the videos, and I'll keep watching them. Thanks for all that you do!

    I rewatched this and got sad all over again because I took my waffle iron apart to clean about a week ago and it's been sitting on our counter, disassembled ever since🤦I can't get the wires to go back where they need to...Hubby says just buy a new one but I can't bring myself to do it lol smh

      Hi there! In the beginning we just ate keto (under 20 net per day) for the majority of our weight loss. We incorporated intermittent fasting to help with the last 20 pounds because those are the hardest to get off! Thanks for watching, Joan! -Sarah

    Do you ever use pea protein in recipes? I've lost my taste for most meats and don't get enough protein so I bought some pea protein powder which taste gross. I can't find any recipes on the net using pea protein. Maybe I should just buy whey isolate…..

    A much better way to do lazy exercise is to walk. Once you start walking, you may just want to continue. I challenge you to walk every day for a month. If it’s too cold to walk outside, go to a mall.

    I also hate exercising until I found the Ring Fit Adventure. It tricks me into working out while I fight monsters and a dragon. I had a Peleton but gave it to my aunt because it became a clothes-line in my basement.
