Thanks so much for this Mike! Would you do a video on how to write a proposal or contract with examples? What are some important points to include in a contract? Do you use a program to draft a generic one? Thank you!
Check out my free courses in Skool, I believe I give examples there. 😎
This was great! Would def love to see a video on how to crush a walk through 💪
Will do!
I actually heard about a strategy where they tell the client a price thats a couple grand more than their actual price and if they balk at the price, they told them something along the lines of "well if thats not within your budget at the moment, we can drop it a couple grand for the first years contract and see how things workout and discuss possible price changes when we renew your contract if need be." I thought that was a pretty neat idea.
One other suggestion about your wife - I'm recalling research that was done - apparently people are a lot more willing to give details (like budgets or sensitive information) to women because we are seen as non-threatening. Subconsciously, people don't feel like a woman is going to use the info as leverage against them. So there's that too.
That's an interesting point-definitely something to consider. Appreciate the insight!
I don't advertise. Iv built my small CT cleaning business purely on relationships and word of mouth. I'd rather not get the job than under bid and work for very little profit. Personally I ask for a budget and everytime they provide. Commercial clients only bid when there is a problem. It's so much work for a commercial client to change cleaning companies that they stick with poor service much longer than a residential client.
