Thinking about getting into this feild. Is it typical for cleaning companies that get contracts with retail chains to subcontract the work? I encountered that and would explain why I see big chain store hygiene levels are very poor.
I’ve ran my cleaning biz as a side hustle for 15 years. After losing my full-time job last Christmas, I went full time on my own. From prior gigs for established cleaners, I now prefer specialized cleaning jobs outside of regular residential. My focus is post construction, & I want to build my name & reputation with local contractors. Shall I visit a construction site asking the project mgr is he happy with current cleaning crew or cold call builder offices to book more post construction contracts on my own? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Hi, Kristina! Great question. Matt answered your question directly in our last video. Here is a link in case you missed it! th-cam.com/video/fKL3K2ln0rU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NGhWiMz1MQvIR9d9
I’m interested in acquiring medical facility accounts but my business is only a year old and I feel that you need to have a lot of experience cleaning those facilities because they require more in depth knowledge and work, so how would someone who has never clean a medical facility go about closing an account without feeling intimidated?
Great question! Dental and dialysis centers are a great place to start when it comes to medical cleaning. Matt explains why at the beginning of this bidding video: th-cam.com/video/KNxKwtNpe_s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yFnM_eLJyjJ0JKSj We are working on training videos related to medical cleaning specifically, so stay tuned. There are also some free resources online. ISSA is a reliable source and a great place to start.

Totally agree, the contractor ending doing the job is getting pay very low because the money are been lower on the chain
Love your material, it's really helped me!

Go to the construction site! Sometimes they will have a cleaning crew already and others they don't and will offer you the gig!

.11-.16 per SQ?!?!?! That's very low
It is and that is Matt's point. If you continue watching he mentions that niche buildings can earn you as much at .25 - .50 per square foot.
Am going to fake it till I make it
