Great console to collect for! This was the first console I actually paid for on my own (I had to have Halo). I was lucky enough to start collecting for it about 15 years ago when I started getting nostalgic for it, but before everyone else did, so I was able to get a ton of games at thrift stores, on ebay, on craiglist, on amazon, etc, before the prices of the games started rising. GREAT list of games you've featured. So many classics. I think you could get to sub $200 by including Crimson Skies, Rallisport Challenge, (1 or 2), Blood Wake, THPS 4 (custom music!), and one of the greatest football games of all time...ESPN NFL 2K5!!. Just a fantastic lineup. I've always been a Nintendo fanboy, but that OG Xbox was SPECIAL. What a FIRE console.

@@NSquaredPodcast heck yea, it felt great! I was a freshman in college, and my parents were pumping a few dollars into my bank account, so I had to be stealthy about it. Lived on instant noodles for a minute or two, and I'm not proud about spending their (I think my?) money, but hey, I graduated, I played the hell out of the system, and I'm paying it forward to my awesome parents to this day. Rock on bro. Love your stuff. Keep it up!!

Right! I could’ve totally left it off at the console and the first 3 games for under $100 but I felt we needed more games 🤘🏼
I actually just did this with the PS2: started from absolutely nothing (never owned or touched a PS2 in my life, grew up with Sega Master System) and put together a collection in about four days. ;-)

I should make a TH-cam video about it soon enough: Virtua Fighter Evolution and its uniquely designed Hori arcade stick were the catalysts for the decision. @@SmashJT thank you my bro! Did the tray just stop coming out? If so it’s just an easy rubber band fix! But either way, they’re super cheap to get as you see in the video!

Last time Bookmans had an OG Xbox they were selling it for $170 loose. And it sold for that price. Way to high of a price point for a loose OG Xbox
That’s cause they price gouge! They change prices on shit all the time it’s crazy. Last Christmas they marked up the N64 price from $80 to $150.
@@NSquaredPodcast That's almost double the going rate. It's getting harder to justify shopping there. I refuse to buy any game that has been resurfaced from them, either they stain the disc or they shave off to much were the game doesn't work anymore
Yeah, just a couple years ago I could go there and get 2-3 games, 2 comic books and a vhs for around $12! Now that gets you a game
