I love my Wide Maxx, it's the most fun I've had with an rc in years.
I just got one to replace my monster slash. Best upgrade ever! The thing is a tank and just keeps giving! It’s an awesome truck!
Ngl I usually prefer diecast model but this time I can't ignore the coolness of these RC car!!! These cars are on fire!
I’m very happy with my xrt. Only added a max6 esc and it’s been awesome so far.
A bunch of great cars and trucks. I got the Maxx v2 and converted it to 6s using Castle Creations set up, I also have the Sledge and the other day I got the XRT. What an expensive year. Lol. What a great hobby!
Lol yeah dude those are some expensive cars! The crazy part to me isn’t even the down payment, it’s all the batteries you gotta grab and charge up for anything 6S or higher (assuming most run two 3S batteries). Must spend all day charging batteries to run the following day! 😂
I love that XRT though man, what an absolute weapon of a car. So sick.

My Kraton 4S is my favorite thing ever. It’s such an amazing truck, definitely deserving of it’s place on the list!
Wish it wasn’t getting so cold here, I’m going to go crazy waiting for the spring time to get here unless I run some paddles!
I live in the uk and its just damp which is amazing for my infraction because I don't really go through tyres and it's a drift machine

The last RC i owned was the HPI Savage. Best I’ve ever owned. Thinking about getting back into rc.
Had one too. I tried to get back into it by getting a Arma BLX truck but the ESC just stopped after a winter run. Haven't had time to figure it out

The TRAXXAS Maxx 4s V2 now 6s. Is by far the best RC this year. The XRT is quite awesome too.

Put it this way. I purchased the Fireteam during the sale and now want to sell they Xmaxx. Disabled and the 6s is the perfect size and speed.🤙
I would LOVE an XRT or a 4S kraton… but there isn’t space in the garage anymore 😅

I ran my kraton 4s into a culvert at max speed yesterday and only broke the rod end on the shock, love that truck 🤣😂🤣
I love the fireteam though the bearings tend to fail

I have an HPI Baja 5b SS I sank an absolute fortune into sitting right beside me with a ported ESP engine and a compression so high it either starts, breaks your fingers or rips the pullstarter. The fuel tank lasts about 30-40 minutes after which you are either deaf or got the cops called on you. At least the thing was good for teaching me how to work on engines and fixing things around a pretty complex chassis for the time.

I think the Amoril 114 scale buggy should be there.I mean for the price you can't beat it.And a brushless motor.
It's usually the one putting the smile on your face at the time tbh! If pushed I'd have to say the rc10 has made quite a compelling case over the decades, lol.....

The XRT looks very sweet and would love it but I have a sledge. It's pretty sweet and tough as nails and I just got a fireteam for $399 so I'm good to go!

Would have liked to see more diversity. Over 50% bashers and/or Arma/Traxxas stuff. Other brands have awesome rigs too. I understand it's where the market is, though... 😏
I also believe FMS/Rochobby deserves a spot. They released some incredible small scale stuff.

I feel like the price of these rc's have gone way up over the past 5 or so years. I remember when a rtr that was $600 was on the high end, $400 getting you a great truck. Now they are slowly creeping up to $1k or more. That 1/6 axial sure is slick tho.
I am not a traxxas fan but they really did good on the Xrt and I am really wanting to get my hands on the scx6 honcho
they sued arrma for the same thing they are doing to arrma now wtf
Rc bullys there strategic. Imagine thier sales had horizon not picked up arrmas
They actually sued over small things they patent, lay down shocks , to arrma , they put hpi out with waterproof receiver box , they also patent the word max but I think with two xx that's why hobbywing can still use I think they tried though loli could be mistaken on that one

The Sledge was a huge disappointment imo. The first day I had it, ran it on 4s and the tires exploded. Switched to Proline Belted tires, threw 6s in and it ran ok until the motor fried, fixed it, then the esc failed, fixed it, then the rear dog bones broke the output cups which caused it to break the spindle, lca and bearings. Fixed it and sold it. I had it a total of 2.5 months. I don’t beat my cars, this was all light/intermediate Bashing that my Losi and arrmas can handle easily.
It was my first Traxxas and it caused me to stay away from them.
The XRT looks sick but I won’t be touching it.
Anything new from Losi or Arrma this year?

Hello I’m new to the hobby and am learning about lipos. When I’m discharging my 6 cell lipo what voltage should I stop at, currently my 6 cell lipo 5200mah is at 24.53 volts

I am by no means an electric guy. Nitro all the way baby but that Small Losi seems cool. Small and nimble. I feel like my basement with carpet is perfect for it. Just need some tiny ramps lol.

I don't know much about rc cars, but I just got a disney store rc buggy from toy story and I was wondering if I can connect it with a "generic" control as long as it has the same frequency as this one, or do I really need to get the original?

The baddest 1 is the Traxxas XRT.I am a avid believer that this 1 hits the hardest

when i was racing my rc10 in the mid 80s if someone showed up with a traxxas, they'd be laughed off the track. if you weren't racing a team associated car then it was a kyosho optima mid. who's laughing now?

All the current Traxxas rc's are bashers. Traxxas hasn't had an actual racing rc since the mid 90's.

And Nike used to suck back in the 80s to but look at them now. Every good company needs time to innovate. It's prob. Time to move on.😆

I would recommend the slash 2wd vxl. I got it and it is a blast. I turned mine into an on road racer that can do light jumps

This list is awesome! Although I would have to say the Slagde, in my opinion, would be closer to top 4; but I know this is based on sale numbers so that's ok 👍The XRT has been my favorite this year! Oh...I recognize the abandoned neighborhood from Roadkill, Hot Rod Garage and Jesse James is a Deadman lol 🤘 Happy Holidays to everyone and can't wait to see what 2023 brings to this amazing hobby!! ive owned several of these cars, pretty legit review. ya the sledge is awesome, i agree im shocked the firestorm was ahead of it. but i have one on the way from the $400 black friday deal so even if its bs, made me smile...

@@fwc2771 That depends on how rational the population is. I am seeing lately that some of the most popular things, make no sense, and that means we are better off figuring it out ourselves IMO. If you have good experience and knowledge in something from decades of experience, you are starting to see masses of people following dysfunction today. It has a lot to do with our schools. We can't figure stuff out anymore,---so we follow. Bad habit to get into. :)

I always recommend the Slash as a starter. It was my first rc car. Get a 2wd and I promise you will be hooked! Easy to work on, easy to upgrade, annnd you can race as well as just play with it.

Love my Maxx v2 and Fireteam. But I think you guys did a good job with the order. I personally think the Maxx V2 beats arrma 4s line.

Are these cars fitted with some sort of gyro tech? Their ability to maintain horizontal orientation in mid air seems far out
Some vehicles feature a steering gyro to counter-steer, but nothing for throttle.

The Maxx is a nice step up from the Hoss, but the Sledge would be a huge step up! Can't go wrong either way!

At the price of the losi king sling, u might as well spend the money on an Arrma Kraton 6s with some upgrades. The kraton is faster, more durable, potentially bigger, and overall better at a lower price.
One of each would be nice, why doesn’t a-main send me them?
HPI Vorza S truggy? I choose this car over all the ones in this video. Hard to beat the durability, weight, performance & value for money @ $649 RTR. Watch "HPI Vorza S Skate Park Pain" if you doubt it's toughness.
