@@GwithaRC Well, you’re certainly entitled to your opinion but I think the fact that it comes with a good battery and charger is part of the “high cost”. The sales of it should be considered as well, my LHS said they’ve been selling like crazy! And the parts support of anything Traxxas is a big reason people buy them, every rc WILL break and we like that we can find parts for our rc that’s 2-3 years old instead of it being discontinued and having to wait until the part randomly shows up on eBay. I’ve sold multiple old rc’s for that simple fact, I’m not going to waste my time on stuff that I can’t find parts for. As far as the Traxxas haters out there, I’m not saying you are one of them, but my LHS also told me Traxxas is great to deal with on his end, better than Horizon by far, even to the point he opened a second store that’s Traxxas exclusive because of how well they treat him and the better deals he gets being exclusive there.
Traxxas has been farting at the wheel of a mobile porta-potty for the whole year. The mini Maxx is inferior to the mini e-revo from 15 years ago. Traxxas has proved, just like Apple, that advertising and "image" is more important than high quality products. When I got into RC last year, I wanted the best quality vehicle, I did months of research, and, as much as I'd heard TH-camrs praise Traxxas, I found out that the big T are more focused on having a solid chassis design and trash electronics. And terrible customer service where they lie to you and try to blame the end user because Traxxas wanted to save $12 and put a plastic geared servo in a 20 pound $1000 truck. Embarrassing.
Just cancelled my Mojave 4s order and ordered the new Pink Kraton 6s v6,,,, woot I got the car of the year! that pink pops like the 80's where I'm from, lol
I did the same a little over 3 years ago. I only have a Xmaxx and TRX6 left that's Traxxass. I haven't driven my Xmaxx in months because I got the Vigilante when it launched and it's everything I always wanted my Xmaxx to be with the bonus of the body staying on until I take it off. I always hated my Xmaxx self removing body system that ejected itself at the slightest hint of a crash.

Would be cool to see a Max Slash making laps on 8th scale tracks... I would like to build a drifter at some point, but the Fazer is definitely a great onroad platform for low cost and with some really nice bodies. The little Mini B and now micro B , are awesome for some small backyard track fun, as they don't require the dirt work on the same scale as bigger scales to still have some great fun.
