Great video and very useful. Would you be able to produce coaching videos on other serving techniques used e.g Flick serve, Drive serve and Top spin serve. Many thanks Gary
I always watch your clips. I practice serving every day but still can't find my footing. I will try and will follow this advice. Thank you very much.🙇♀️
Great videos! I was wondering, do you look at the shuttle when serving or your opponent. If its the shuttle, whats your routine/setup process for the serve? Thanks
Hey coach, when I use the backhand low serve in singles, I want to know how to handle deceptive shots that opponents sometimes use to receive serve. Like, they could hold a while and then flick the return flat to the back court. How do I counter that? I suppose the question is, how do I position my feet to prepare to hit the third shot? Because we play doubles so often in amateur games, we’ve sort of forgotten how prepare to hit the third shot after we hit the low serve.
Then have your racket move more down towards the ground. This will have the shuttle launch lower and just get over the net and then straight after the shuttle will dive down making it 10x harder to receive for the opponent
Thanks for the excellent video. Regarding the spin serve, most of the spin seems to have diminished by the time the shuttle passes the net - any suggestions? I'm standing right up to the line and leaning in etc. but obviously something's missing as it just looks like a good normal low serve when it reaches the opponent.
I enjoyed watching all your videos as you explain all the tips in details and the different angle shots provided in the video are also helpful.
excellent brief! Thanks a ton.. helped me a lot

Enjoyed watching your training.. can we get admission in your institute for training?
Nice video. I am from Bangladesh

When I go under the shuttle and do small slice the shuttle use to go up very very High..it's very easy for opponent to push downward..
Then have your racket move more down towards the ground. This will have the shuttle launch lower and just get over the net and then straight after the shuttle will dive down making it 10x harder to receive for the opponent
thank yo so much

Which tape you used for ankle protection
Just a basic normal sports tape 💪

It is so tricky to get the spin going, maybe watch my tutorial about the spin serve and see how I do it 💯
@@BadmintonFamly I have done, many times! I'll keep trying...
감사합니다~~~^^ 많은 도움이 되었어요^^(thanks for your teaching ^^)

One question is that whether the Kevin Sanjaya serve ,where he used to generate lot of spin by hitting base of the shuttle, is legal or not?
Yes it is legal as long as you dont hit the feathers in the serve😎
@@BadmintonFamly Thank you Thomas
@@BadmintonFamly If I come to Denmark, I would love to meet you and discuss several aspects of badminton. :)

Your SERVE is ILLEGAL !!!. Too HIGH. Must NOT BE ABOVE HIP !!!
The rule is below the waist, and i´m pretty sure mine is just that 😎
@@BadmintonFamly The maximum height is 1.15 metres
