It’s so rad watching these videos without the discovery channel production drama. Your style and love for these bikes over all these years have really shaped an entire generation 👊🏻✊🏻
Billy those bronze Indian Larry footboards couldn’t have ended up with a more deserving person. Man the Fat Boy is going to give your Bad Boy a run for its money. Hey brother if you find any more of those Chopper’s Ink timing covers or anything else Choppers Ink that I could use in my Shovel give me a shout with a price. You take care brother and stay safe.
Billy that's why I love your style you continue the old school style of motorcycles and everyone loves that you keep the memories of Larry and the old school men of chopperdom!
Billy, like you, I'm all about the details. Swap meets and old bike parts shops are great for finding old, forgotten parts that still have life left in them. That's what makes my bike "mine"! The time it takes for you to make these videos is much appreciated!
Loving these Softail builds. I watched while in the workshop and kept looking over at my Fatboy thinking about all the changes it’s been through since’03. Cheers my friend!
I have an 06 twin cam - worlds slowest Fat Boy. Love the lowered look, new seat, bars and exhaust! Very inspiring! Used to live right down the street from IL shop when it was on Union Av and Ainslie St. Bobby and Leeza are wonderful people, my daughter is Aiden’s age. I always think about them and keep them in my prayers
@@BillyLaneChoppers good for you bro, your Fatboy is beautiful and the floor boards are a great tribute piece. I used to do the Aiden has a posse runs when I could too. Ride safe
That is bad azz... I am a street strip car drag racer, and I build the cars, CM cage, stainless steel tig welded piping, and I'm a Harley and chopper guy. The amount of knowledge you share with people on here is 2nd to none. I use the knowledge on my bikes, and I'm glad to have it. It would be really cool to come to your shop and watch and learn a few things.
I made chromoly frames for a minute. The vibration of these engines kills the small tubing. And people weld to it, thinking it is mild steel- which becomes disastrous.
Absolutely love all the old school parts put on this bike especially the Indian Larry parts 20 years seems like it was not that long ago rest easy Larry one of a kind.
Idian larry was my fav builder...his choppers looked old school light and fast with alot of flavor...thx for keeping my favorite alive in memory says alot about who u are as a man...wish u the best
I've gotta 98 Fatboy Black with gold pinstrips and thought it looked great. But you really changed this one 100% for the better. Love all the little touches like the Indian Larry's, and your Choppers Inc add ons.
Hey Billy. This build is coming along nicely. With all the improvements too detail this bike is as unique as you are. After all the work you've put into it I sincerely hope you keep it and enjoy this ride for years to come !
120k subscribers, are you kidding me!!!! We all just went to softail school. This channel is worth a fortune in just time saving stuff I've already seen.
Very nice ride!!I put S&S heads on my 1998 Fatboy. Cobra 2into 1’s Lectron carb. It came with different cams than stock when I bought her over 10 years ago.
Billy, I love watching your videos. I think I've watched everything you ever put online. I'm working on a 2001 Deuce. You are a wealth of knowledge and don't get caught up in cleaning every part to a shiny luster. Do it right and ride the Hell out of it. 🎉
Currently in the midst of a road king rebuild. I have been watching so many videos to find my inspiration. The pipes on this phat boy are in point. Love the floorboards. That was a priceless addition to make this build pop. Great work 👍🏻
You know you have built a shit ton of bikes and bike parts when you’re holding a cover in your hand with your name on it and you say “I think this is the only one in existence. I don’t think I ever put these in to production” Really digging this series. Very cool seeing one of my favourite builders putting together a bike that anyone of us could find on marketplace and make similar (although nowhere near as cool) modifications. Keep em comin. Watching from Vancouver Island 🏝️
Just came across your channel today and its got me excited for building the little 98 1200 sporty i picked up to get back on two wheels. Love the content!
I'm kinda regretting selling off my Choppers Inc ball milled grips that left with my 97 Sportster. The quality of your parts remains unmatched. Thanks Billy for great content as always 👍
Really like all your additions to the Fatboy. Everything just fits so well into the theme. I really like watching you, I’m an old fart but I seem to learn something new from you every day.
Those cast bronze footboards couldn't have ended up in better hands. Nobody is going to pay a better tribute to Larry than you. I'm going to be honest I actually choked up a little bit when you put those on the mounts. Thank you for keeping it real!
I love your stuff Billy . You been an inspiration to me since I was a punk kid watching you on tv. Twenty years plus later Im still watching and loving the ideas I get from you to use on mine !
The details really give a bike character. It doesn't have to be high dollar, and usually subtle at first glance. Those are some very nice pieces you've added to the bike Billy. Cool factor just went way up!
I bought a 98 Fatboy brand new, ended putting an S&S 113" in it. Had alot of fun with it, ran low 11's. This video was a great addition to Part 1. Thanks for sharing!🐲
Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. I know they take more time than people realize. I have learned so much from them. It's amazing how small changes make such a difference.
Hey dude I just discovered you on TH-cam! I’ve been a fan for a long time and it’s nice to see you working again. Love the content. Can’t wait to see it all God bless dude.
It's generally not my style, but I think it is very different contrast from what you usually see on a FatBoy. Go back and look at my BadBoy. I went from the Cobra pipe to West Coast Choppers HellBent pipe. The huge chrome HellBent isn't typically what you see on a BadBoy, but it works.
The one thing I never cared for was the solid front wheel on the FB. I always thought a cut-out design of some sort would make the front wheel stand out and really change the look. All of the add on stuff works with that bike for sure. What surprised me the most was the transmission cover. That really did clean things up.
I'm really digging the one of a kind inspection cover for the derby.we are also in the process of putting after market brass accent s on my daughter s Sportster as kinda a father daughter project . bike looking good there billy .
Sick build totally dig it. I’ve been watching your videos and it really lit a fire in me to get back on two wheels. Im on the hunt for a old Harley project i can make my own. Thanks for the inspiration man i love your build style.🤙🏼
I've never really been a fan of the FAT Boy (something about that big front end and solid wheel.) However, with these changes, I'd sport this ride in a heart beat!!
This is my favorite motorcycle channel. No crazy nonstop music, no sound effects, no drama, just great content.
Thank you. I'll keep it this way.

Watching this series takes me back to those days. It’s the little things that give a bike its personality in my opinion
Agreed. When Im doing this, it reminds me of the 1990's- a different time
That exhaust is the jewel in the crown!
Lookin good.
Pie-cut stainless exhaust video hits Friday
@@BillyLaneChoppers Oh beauty, thanks for the feedback, looking forward to it.

The Indian Larry footboard wings reflect off the chrome just above the shifter peg 13:33 beautiful stuff ! Thanks Billy !
Didn't notice that until you mentioned it, but that is very cool
I have always loved the Fatboy look ever since I first watched Terminator 2. It is one of my favorite Harleys besides the 48 Sportster.
I wanted one so bad when I saw T2.
Me to, now I ride the Fatboy 2000 and Sportglide 2023. I loved the 48 when I had one but the Fatboy replaced it.

The chopper craze has long since peaked.
But Billy remains an interesting figure.
Because of who he is and what he is.
