I hadn't done anything then or been to 49 States and spoke Jimmy K's msg in manyyyy of those States. I ended up going sportbike path, but I still appreciate anything on wheels, from 1 to 18, I've mastered them all. Now I feel old, life is easier now, but I feel older than I am. @BillyLaneChoppers thing was nuts, pre-winglets on the front cowl, so at 180mph it would be slightly pulling up the front wheel.
I went actually all in, moved to Redondo Beach and rode 12hr days, 6 days a week delivering Med weed just to get paid to ride. I was so dialed on that bike it was insane. Dodging those morons dipping into the carpool lane was wild. Lost a peg and almost a foot, another time pulled a stoppie, realized I had room to spare, so I locked the rear up to slide and match their angle, knocked on the window and kept on going. Haha
This town is too small for me on two wheels, sold it. I've done enough they legit make movies about guys like me, but I'm stuck with regular old life now trying to figure out the next thing to do. If you got any ideas for where I'm at in life now, I'm listening.

You and Indian Larry were the best. I appreciated the choppers you built (off the wall ideas), but Larry’s bikes were cool also. Have a couple of original magazines that featured both bikes you had featured in them. Same with Jesse James first feature bike. Holding onto them. PS, your article on making a jockey shift from a cable clutch helped me a lot on my 05 RK. Been 7 years and not a problem by following what you did.

No need to spin it. There never was. The producers were always looking to inject some Hollywood spin. We built those bikes in a very short period of time, then rode them a very long way. The drama they sought was bound to manifest on the highway.

He was one hell of a guy and very old school just like me. I never earned a dollar for anything I’d filmed for them, and these shows were generating a huge sum of money. I’m not greedy, but it was difficult to be filming with a crew of eight people, and I’m the only one in the room who isn’t being paid to be there. So, after three rides, I’d quietly promised myself this would be my last. Then I started getting jerked around when I told them I was done. People generally believe we were getting paid handsomely, like Orange County Choppers. But it was the opposite.
