I really wish that Norfolk Southern would adopt some version of those liveries for their entire fleet. 4001's blue version is especially good looking. But in this day of thin margins and other priorities, I am sure that's just a railfan's dream. Nice work, as always, Rowan. It does sound quite a lot like a K5HLA. It's pretty close to 8101's K5HLA.
Its confirmed a K5LLA, you can look up a picture of the horn.

Nice I caught 4003 in 2020
Hey Rowan,might I make a small suggestion,it might make your shots better! If your camera has adjustable ASA/ISO film speeds,take it off the default,i.e,100/200,and reslate to 400 as your base! The camera,will then go up to 800/1600/3200,so in low light conditions,you will have usable shots! Also your shutter speeds,and F-stops will be tighter,and you will recover more useful video! In regards to the F-stops,as an advantage,your depth of field will increase,i.e.,from f4,to f8/16,etc.,helps a lot on night,and less than perfect weather shots too! Anyway,that's one technique,that has stood the test of time for me,and I've used it for some 40 years! The equivalent films,were Tri-X,[B&W[,and High Speed Extachrome,plus Kodacolor 400,and other equivalent films,from other manufacturers! Hope this helps in your endeavors! Beautiful work,as usual,and nice to know,you are alive and kicking!! You rock,bro!! Thanks again for all the work! I 😇😇😇😇😇😇👍👍👍👍👍
