@@AbelG8781railroad doesn’t care as long as the engineers are doing their job, many engineers where I live do some crazy horn shows and have been working there for many years. Of course some railroads are more strict about it but Union Pacific doesn’t seem to be one of them.

@@Amtrak90222 Unfortunately, I can’t. I live in Sugar Land which is way on the other side of the state going far south, whereas your friend is located far up north. The only furthest railfanning place I’ve gone to is College Station which is the Navasota subdivision if he passes through there often.
@@Amtrak90222 I was actually in Dallas just last month ago, and I can easily take the Trinity Railway Express commuter train to Fort Worth, but I only had a few days of free time, so I only just stayed in Dallas metropolitan area as I was there for like a winter conference with my college. Next time I’m in Dallas again, I’ll try to visit Fort Worth, but there is so much to do in Dallas.
