The bomb dropping discussion was a little confusing because Maximus was talking about a bombing that happened in his early life, whereas Lucy wanted to know about the bombing 219 years ago. Two different tragic events.

If you were wondering how Maximus got frozen in the suit(I'm only at 17:00) its because Thadeus took the Fusion Core from the suit that powers it. Without power, its not gonna work.
It's also, because as the ghoul said: RTFM (doubly true for the original and real FO games).

Roger was a "normal" ghoul who was about to turn Feral. The chems he was taking slowed the process. Cooper Ghoul prevented Roger from turning feral by mercy killing him.
The "Mark" you wondered about is the logo for Vault-Tec.

The Squire Thaddeus removed the Fusion Core from the Power Armor, thus immobilizing Maximus. FC's are very valuable in the games. They are worth collecting any chance you get. But in this case, it allowed Thaddeus to escape. But I agree that its poor design choice. In the games, if one of your settlers or companions gets into your suit, you have to pickpocket the suit to get the FC and get the PA back. But its better to never leave the FC inside an unused suit to begin with or else it will get stolen.

@@Grimbolone of the most infuriating things about the internet in my opinion. You can be making a great point but people will seize on a misspelling and not let it go.
The name "Lucy Maclean" may be a reference to Die Hard's John Mclane who has a daughter named Lucy Mclane. But this TV Lucy's name is significant to the Ghoul for reasons that will be shown later.
the name Lucy could also refer to the 1950s TV show "I love Lucy"... and this might not be a random choice, as many people have said "I love Lucy" while watching the Fallout TV series
Lucy and Maximus are not in Vault 31, or any Vault in the 30's series.

@@volourn9764 To piss you off. And it worked! But seriously, it was not a spoiler. It was obvious that Lucy and Max were not in Vault 31 or related Vaults since we'd already seen the decrepit conditions of the Vault 32.They fell into an entirely different Vault because they were no where near Lucy's original Vault 33 area. Since the Vaults 31-33 are all connected then it would be impossible for them to be in any of them at that point in the show. Also, why should viewers assume that Vaults 31-33 were the only Vaults around? The numbers themselves indicate more Vaults in the game and in the TV series. I believe the lore number is 122 Vaults in total. (not counting any Vaults that might be in the upcoming "Fallout: London" game mod, which may or may not be part of the FO lore.)
