As mentioned in the comments already, I'll try to make Edge uninstallable by changing the system to work as being in EEA (European Economic Area) This is already in my backlog. Before this change there was no safe way to remove Edge so I marked it as disabled since it would silently fail. Stay tuned for the next update, it might be a major one. If you have other suggestions or features you might want included, feel free to leave a comment or use the Feedback dialog in the app.
No safe way ? I just deleted majority of It's files and even if I wanted it to work it doesn't 😅 no more Edge

@@Reflect744 some people might want a way to revert the change, or to be able to use Edge in the future, doing it your way corrupts it and it's not a complete or clean removal.

The graphics driver restart button doesn't restart your PC. It just initiates the same thing the hotkey WIN+CTRL+SHIFT+B does, literally just restart the graphics driver.
He never said it restarts the PC

@@Bernardoskau perhaps he said it for clarification, as installing graphics drivers always needs system restart
it's not the same as WIN+CTRL+SHIFT+B , that shortcut does not actually restart the driver but more like disconnecting the cable from the monitor.
Thank you for sharing this. The telemetry and ads alone would deserve the installation of this app on every PC.
"ultimate performance" on power options just tends to keep your pc at maximum performance at all times and at the same time degrades your hardware overtime since it builds up more temperature allowing to heat up and age-out your PC. i prefer 'balanced' option as it only keeps your pc perform at peak when you are into more heavy softwares could be rendering, gaming, etc. which you may also tweak it on your GPUs control panel under power management.
your hardware will not degrade quicker if you choose maximum, it will only run at max when a game or app demands it which depending will not be often, especially with the more power efficient and strong 40/50 series
ultimate performances main change is to turn off the power saving features of things like hdds which would usually go to sleep, main use for servers and such, but will not degrade anything as the hdd wont spin unless its actually being used which it wouldnt if you arent reading or writing to it.
Fun fact: the one who created the app is from Romania (or originates from there, he has a Romanian name)

Bogdan Is in no way Romanian name. The name itself is Slavic, it legit means "given by God". Maybe Romanians accepted it over the centuries, but it is NOT a Romanian name.

Yep they do, even sometimes when they are made by the same developer.

Most of the times using chris titus utility is more than enough to remove bloat and background crap
What is HAGS? And why do you insist on keeping it disabled?
Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling...it basically offloads the task of frame buffering from CPU to GPU. If you have a weak CPU (in respect to your GPU) then you should try it and it could provide better performance. Its not a miracle remedy though, just compare some games with it on vs. off and choose for yourself if you get any benefits.

The only reason I left it off is because when I had it enabled in a previous installation of Windows 11 I had weird performance issues with video editing.
When I disabled it everything was back to normal.
@@Nate-Atoms the only game where I find my r5 5600x to be actually weaker in comparison to my rtx 3060 is when I am playing Spiderman Remastered with rtx 2k ultra settings, that time my game bottlenecks cause of my cpu... I guess only in this regard I might see a performance benefit by enabling HAGS... Right?
One of the reasons you would want it enabled is to be able to use DLSS Frame Gen on RTX 40 cards, with it off i only had FSR in GoW Ragnarok but with it on DLSS appeared again. I dont know about other games

just drag the taskbar to the top, if it dosent work unlock the taskbar with right click

Do you have anything similar for Linux? I am struggling with restricted configuration options, undocumented functionality, no overview of what's happening, no overview of what's installed, struggle to find webpages to download software from and million of ways of uninstalling something.

If you live in the EU, yes you can remove it without software. Everywhere else in the world you need a script or modify a certain .json file to get the capability to uninstall Edge.

When I try to create a recovery drive in Window 10, it keeps saying "some fies are missing." Can I use Wintoys to fix this and how? Or can you recommend a video or description on how to do this? On a usb drive.

on my device the HAGS setting in the wintoys app seems to be off and cannot be turned on, but I can turn it on in the settings, what is the reason?

The only thing this app will help me with is getting the ultimate performamce power plant ive tried everything to create duplicate power plant but it didnt work and when i try to make a new power plant there is just balance power plant fixed no options
christ Titus one tool for everything. search it up and follow a tutorial on how to launch it through power shell. the is an option in one of the tabs the create and apply ultimate power plan. let me know if U need any help

I believe Microsoft Edge is baked into Windows. Windows depend on edge ... for whatever reason
Yeah, but Microsoft provides a way to uninstall it if you're in the EU.
We can use Windows without Edge, but some things like EdgeWebView2 is required for some apps, so there's no getting past that.
@memstechtips oh, I did know that. Weird
@@memstechtips I'll make an update to adress this issue for the EU countries. I'll probably try to add an option so that anyone outside EU can benefit from it. The reason it's disabled is because it didn't actually work to uninstall it before Microsoft did this changes for EEA.
I think I managed to get rid of it using Revo uninstaller.
That is, of course, until Microshaft sneak another covert update reinstall.
Can't find any trace of it tho after using Revo.

@@Basiscitx that is for Windows 10, the guy in the video is using Windows 11 and has his taskbar at the top which is currently impossible. I'm guessing he's using another program to to this which is what OP is looking for
he used some tool, i use windhawk, its a windows customization tool. also it uses a very low amount of ram(only like 2.5MB). in windhawk you can download many appearence tweaks to the taskbar and start menu without slowing down your pc

hey, somehow everytime I try to upgrade to windows 11, the update is never able to complete, like my pc turns of and starts updating but out of nowhere it says that its reverting the changes made in the system and never get to update windows... is there any way to fix that?
Best fix to that is staying to windows 10. If you have older pc it's not worth it.
hmm since i installed it i have FPS drops in some games. but i dont know how to fix it only what i made with this Tool was the Right klick like in win 10.
i need help, when i play games on my laptop with charged plug in the game lags but doesnot lags when not pluged in
have you figured out what the issue is? i think a good place to start is to download a program to monitor temperatures, and see if the temp peaks when playing both plugged in and unplugged. over heating is a cause for performance drops because the pc is trying to cool down by allocating resources away from what is causing it to heat up.

hold click on taskbar and just drag it to the top.
If you can't do that. Right click the taskbar, Uncheck "Lock taskbar" and do the things mentioned above.
