My last car was a 2010. It took multiple TH-cam videos and hours of research to feel comfortable with the MANY features of a new Subaru. We love the car but it can do way more for me than I will ever need.
I never knew what the small covers were for on the front and back of my Crosstrek. Thanks for the info. I learn so much watching Subdaru tutorials without having to read so many thick Subaru manuals that comes with the vehicle.
I use a floor jack. I bought some pinch weld things. You put them on the floor jack so it fits where you are suppose to put the original jack. I did this because the spare jack takes too long to lift the vehicle. Also I use them when using jack stands when rotating tires.
@Jay-et7jh you can drive through the park brake if you press the accelerator when im drive, not reverse. Reverse you'll have to release it with the switch. The eyesight system will cut power though if it senses and obstacle. And if RAB (rear auto brake) is on and you release the brake and reverse, it will stop the car if it senses an obstacle.
What did you tell him how many recycled beer, cans and soda cans? It took to build that Subaru there are nothing but junk, including that stupid boxer engine I had an 85 rusted out in four years yeah nothing but junk and when there’s a problem it’s written in the maintenance manual as you are responsibility never had a car. I advise anybody to buy it. Pure junk, pure junk.
Sorry for my last reply the words didn’t come out right what I meant to say was I had an 85 Subaru and for me the car was made out of recycled beer and soda cans. It rusted out in four years. It had the box engine and every time there was a problem it always seem to be a maintenance manual so it became your problem not theirs. The car was a piece of junk. I would never buy another one. I don’t care how many times they tell me how good it is to me. It’s nothing but junk, that’s only my opinion. I had a very bad experience with it.

I noticed the rubber mat on your dash. Looked that up on Amazon and 12 dollars later no slippy slide on the dash. Perfect!
@aydenivy i love that mat for sure Super grippy holds all kinds of stuff for me.
I have similar.
Nice summary. I like how you presented the features.
Very helpful video.
Thanks for taking the time to create it.

You can see if you have steering responsive headlights by simply watching their reflection when you start the car.
The Wilderness trim has a full size spare with matching wheel.
Does the vehicle drive when the red "park" sign in on? or does the system auto disengage the eletric brake should you forget to release?

they are not surprising; they are difficult to remember or use!
Screw
