Beautiful!!, love the colours and above all the lions gaze💜👌Glad the migraine broke, never had one but my sister did, I saw enough to understand its an excruciating state to be in.🌹
WOW, that's AWESOME!!! You are very inspiring to us newbees, I really like your style of art, it's like total freedom, very cool!!! Keep On Creating, Rock On & God Bless.
Hi Lydia ☺️ Thank you again for your awesome videos! I have been suffering from chronic migraines and cluster attacks for 25 years now (I’m in my mid thirties), plus so much more. 1.5 years ago I took up biochemistry and some other studies (I couldn’t finish med school due to my health) and read a lot. I stumbled upon a migraine study about ginger vs sumatriptan. Long story short, I now have had 5 migraine episodes and 2 cluster attacks in 1,5 years (before I had migraines every day and cluster attacks every week). I’m off all of my medication and I’m starting to get a life! I’ve had support from several doctors (since I had more serious shi*** going on), and I’m never turning back! I get for some it’s a bit extreme, but I wanted to share my experience since one of my neurologists told me that 2 other patients now have experienced the same the last few months, after he told them my story. I take 2 capsules of fermented ginger every day (I’m now trying cheaper ginger in powder form) and eat a whole food plant based diet. I’ve had some really difficult things in my life the last 3 months 💔 and in the past that often led to hospitalization for me because of the cluster, but I haven’t even had a migraine attack. I hate when people go on the internet and give advice. So this will be my first and last time! But some how I just felt it was ok (I’m Scandinavian, and talking this much in general isn’t something we do! And certainly NOT about our self 😅😂!!!) But your videos have had an impact on my everyday too, so.. I guess this is how I say thank you,now 😅 I don’t know if you read this (so I will forever have some anxiety for putting this on the internet 🤪),but.. I wish you the best!!! Lastly I apologize for my English..it’s not my first (or second) language 😅
Love your lion. Thank you for sharing and for the inspiration. Really like your music choice also.😊 Looking forward to seeing what you create next. Have a great week.
The eyes....I love that you started with what would remain the focal point throughout. With the addition of each color, product, abstraction...never did those eyes quit staring at me. I think it makes a point that regardless of elements of mixed media...abstraction...realism...a great piece always hold its focal point. Probably stupid comment...but ALL the other elements would have become meaningless...
This is beautiful! My favorite color combo is blue and orange as well. Love this, and thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with us. There’s no way I could produce anything remotely good if I painted with one of my migraines. Just sayin’.
Brilliant as always and Lydia!!! And YES! Those eyes!! The fade of color leading into shadow gave the lion so much depth! I thought it fascinating you’re favorite colors are blue & orange, I’ve never been excited by Orange but the combo is striking. Another favorite artist of mine, AnneMarie Ridderhof loves these colors too. 💙🧡
Very cool! I’m thinking that lion is old. He had lots of babies, and maybe ate a few. He lives in the moment. Only primal needs must be met. He is stoic and ruggedly handsome in his old age. Look into his eyes; there’s a lion’s prolific lifetime in them. King of wherever he wants to be. Gorgeous painting. The stenciled dots were necessary. How do you do it? I mean, I saw you do it but can’t figure “how” you do it. You are a wizard. 🦁🦁🦁
I'm really sorry you suffer from migraines, Lydia. I can relate - I'm often struggling with headache too. Could your migraines be caused by the fumes from the paints, painting media, spirits etc.?
He is gorgeous……. His eyes are amazing ….. and I think he approved of everything you did. Love him ❤❤
Such a beautiful piece and you created this whilst having a migraine- I'm amazed - absolutely love this
He is absolutely gorgeous!🤍
I love the expression on this lions face. It's like a deep knowledge glowing inside, no fear, no unecessary brain flickering, very calm. Amazing.
Love this colourful lion!
You are such an amazing artist, thank you for sharing your art!

Absolutely beautiful as always, you make it look so easy🥰x

Very interesting pointers. I may invest in some golden open colors. It turned out beautifully ❤
Beautiful.
Bravo!!!
Love that!

such a fun painting to watch, sorry it was no fun at the time you painted it.

Thanks for another fun demo - doesn't sound like it was much fun for you tho.
Do you draw right on your Canvas OR do you draw and then transfer it
🙂😛
