Love you bro!!! And on a serious note, the story time was great!! Honest and humble but either your signature humor. I wish and pray good things for you my friend. You are honest and authentic. Your recommendations mean the world. And I seriously need to try the walnut shrimp now. 👍👍
I really like the new channel name. I worked at a Chinese restaurant for 7 years. I love hearing the little Chinese expressions you say. It reminds me of my happy times at the restaurant. Cheers🍻
its interesting how you said you worked at a chinese 7 years, for me, people work a year or two, or they work all their lives.. very interesting 7 years
I just come back here to watch this video again because the shrimp walnuts and liked. Then, I realized you’ve explained your bean sprouts story here😅 It’s always good to re watch your videos again⋯⋯and again😊
Great choice!, $100 well spent, shrimp looks good, didn't see you eat the walnuts, fried rice looks lovely, as for story time, lay off the bean sprouts, they're crispy, chicken crunchy, refreshing and delicious!, nothing wrong with earthy my friend, beef chow fun looks amazing!, great to see you enjoying your 10 out of 10 meal tonight, have fun!*
Thank you for the bonus bean sprout story. We all love your thoughts and stories. I'm getting hungry I'm going to make that chow whatever with the giant prawns, and the giant prawns with Walnut I bet they are really sweet.
Hi Danny, love your videos and I can understand paying these prices at Caesar’s Palace but why do these plates look so cheap to me? Looks like plastic plates from a cafeteria…the taste is more important than presentation but they could have used a different set of plates. I will go try this place when I go in September
Like you I was shooting for the Bacchanal but only made it to this restaurant but this was 4 or 5 yrs ago so I think they must have remodeled because I don't remember it looking like this, but like you, I thought the prices were way too high. And to be honest, I don't remember the food. I think we had a couple of dishes and left to go eat somewhere else, but glad you enjoyed your meal.
Hilarious. I broke up with my girlfriend because of bean sprouts. I like Pho very much and I would push aside the bean sprouts. I don't like bean sprouts to any noodle or ramen dish.
Love your AUTHENTIC views and down to earth vibe🥢🥢so growing up in Santa Barbara county we had 2 great places for Cantonese style food however, now the owners changed and neither are “Authentic or what we are used of” I’m looking for a recipe however haven’t found one with that perfect gravy😊 do you have a video with sn egg foo young??
Bean sprouts are an excellent source of antioxidants, which protect against cell damage and may reduce the risk cancer and heart disease. Specific vitamins and minerals in bean sprouts include: Vitamin C. Calcium.
Okay people, 🛑 STOP ✋🏼 disrespecting Chinese food, especially Cantonese!!! You’re so used to your local Chinese American restaurants, you denigrate various Chinese restaurants based on your perception of what’s expensive/appropriate prices on their menus and totally disregard the work; fresh mise en place, quality of fresh meats and fresh produce?!!! Each order is cooked to order using freshly prepared ingredients meaning NO processed ingredients! Yet I rarely hear …”Oh this chimichanga ( $18.99~$26.99) platter is so expensive”?! Nothing but process ingredients for a gooey meal. Or……”this burger 🍔 ($9.99~$23.99) is so expensive” As in anything, you pay what you get! Quality cost! Skilled chefs cost! Those shrimps 🍤 are U10, averaging $19~$30/lb. Different levels, different price points ……Get over it people 😣 Simply GO where you feel comfortable!
Loved the food but loved your humor even more!🤣. The prawns were huge and a little bigger than the Honey Walnut Shrimp at Ondori at the Orleans Hotel odd Strip but I think if u try Ondori you’ll find it equally tasty and cheaper all around too. Also, their dry beef chow fun looks better than Beijing (sorry, but I like the crunch in bean sprouts) , and their regular beef chow fun is even better! Give Ondori a try - u won’t regret it … their sushi and sashimi are a must!
Thank you. I love all your videos. Keep up the good work. You don't like bean sprouts. Just like me, I don't like onions on my double double. The employees at INN-N-OUT know me already. I am cheap, I grew up with nothing. I have to watch what I spend. It's not cheap, it's called frugal.
If I had to pay for it, I would not have gone there. I used a coupon that Caesars gives out once a year to loyal customers.. that and or sometimes they included food value in the hotel reservations. If I had to pay cash, I would uber it to chinatown!
haha, omg, that story at the end was too funny. now, stop messing around, come to va and lets eat a truly wonderful buffet, you know the one. i have not been there in months but am holding out until you come to va to try it. you will love it.
In today's market - that meal would be a bargain! Thank you for explaining the basics of the food. I hate when people tell me " just try it - never mind what's in it" 🤮 I want to know what's going in my mouth. Don't mind trying things - but I want to know everything in it!!!!
Dan , you and i think alike, i usually skip the bean sprouts also, especially if sprouts or green onion are not fresh. i also want extra wok heat on the ho fun, i like it a little burned, if u know what i mean. Now That is what chow fun should look, not the imitation dish from that Great Chinese Food at Coronado.
Wow, I have never had such expensive Chinese food ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But happy to hear it was so good that it is worth the money !!!! Good story too !!!!
There are vegetables I dislike because they taste "earthy" but I like bean sprouts. Bamboo shoots and mushrooms I think taste much more "earthy" and I just pick them out of they are in a dish.
walnut shrimp is actually one of my LEAST favorite dishes because they always put too much mayo or the shrimp is not fresh. Will have to check out this Beijing No.9 version in Vegas next time.
@@dannythemedic I live in S.F., i always go to Monterey Park, Los Angeles, just stay there for food, 2 to 3 days , like mini vacation, mostly i like to eat Hong Kong style food, especially the one u showed, + i live curry very much. San Francisco can't compare to Monterey Park....!
haha, it came with bean sprouts cause everyone has it with . Pizza no cheese. I think it's the top part of the bean sprout with the smell. Or undercooked.
DANNY THE MEDIC- That place looks expensive, BUT by your reaction alone it is BETTER than any item from the Bacchanal... many items being flavorless or dried out even at the more expensive Casino Buffets.
be sure your vitamin D level is high normal, if not, fix it with costco vitamin D! I was real low and my allergies were killing me, nowadays fixed that with 10,000-20,000 IU a day of vitamin D.
Lmao Danny u eat like me using big serving spoon as reg spoon. Man all the items u ordered , it would be half of the price in most Chinese restaurants outside of Vegas.
I JUST REALIZED WHAT YOU MEANT, THE FRIED RICE SPOON... AT THE TIME I DID NOT NOTICE IT WAS HUGE!!!!!! I JUST NOTICED IT WHILE WATCHING THIS AGAIN! !!!!! MY GOD
@@dannythemedic A chef would be in the front by the hostess. It was a demonstration of how he made stands of noodles. I was wondering he stopped due to covid. It was quite a show.

Really fun video, may have to hit this place up next week!
Dan, Dan...that bean sprout story is PRECIOUS! Well told and very interesting indeed... Thanks for the laugh.
I really like the new channel name. I worked at a Chinese restaurant for 7 years. I love hearing the little Chinese expressions you say. It reminds me of my happy times at the restaurant. Cheers🍻
The nice manager lady at the bellagio buffet asked me, why is it called dannythemediic? and that was the last straw.. lol :)

Beansprouts make my stomach ache too! TY Brother for this video.

I think this place is considered not a fancy place... therefore the low end stuff.. maybe
i love the honest review!
eggroll is 10.99? I think I would have passed that place up!

So much good food. What do you do with leftover since you stayed in hotel without fride or microwave.
I would eat it cold in the middle of the night, if I think the food is still safe to eat
Hilarious. I broke up with my girlfriend because of bean sprouts. I like Pho very much and I would push aside the bean sprouts. I don't like bean sprouts to any noodle or ramen dish.
Does the chow fun has the wok hei?
it did... lots of it... if only they can bottle that stuff
Danny I love your stories that goes with the meals. Check out some Deli's in Vega.

The only way I would eat bean sprouts is if it was proven to make it longer!
Also check out my watch channel! It used to be all one channel, but I had to split the topics to better serve the viewers!

Try the pork egg rolls at the 7-Eleven roller grill. A buck and a half. Tasty duck sauce but only Heinz yellow mustard. Ha!
I was amazed to see slots and VP in the 7-11 ! LOL I once asked the clerk if I can get a comped coffee while playing, he was like yeah!
Funny story about the bean sprouts. You leave them out of your Pho as well?
how DARE YOU EVEN ASK!!!! ... lol
Even at those prices I’m getting hungry! Oh very good story!😂
Even from my computer I can tell that is excellent Chinese food, but that is way too expensive. Thanks Danny!.

thats gone now right? the sands?

I was gonna do the JASMIN video, which would have been titled the most expensive chinese food in the world.
Here in Manila's Chinatown, all of that food will only cost $30 probably with a bigger serving size. Well of course you're in a Vegas hotel.
Reyes, u mean Philippines ? WOW thank you for watching from so far away! Someone once told me that our big yellowish Envelopes were invented there!

Fun fact about sprouts they also have a tendency to carry mass bacteria.
ooo what kind ?
Man that looks like a fantastic meal!

Ridiculous story abut bean sprouts. I love bean sprouts, especially the soy bean ones.
Sorry, typing error, meant to write "crisp and crunchy, not "chicken crunchy ".
I totally agree with you on "No bean sprouts" . that's me ordering food with no bean sprouts.
I like your Videos!
thank you
!
All that looks so amazing
it was sooooo good!
Fried rice and chow fun usually are cheap food so I gather you're paying for the atmosphere.
You and I have the same taste, I don't like bean sprouts either. I always get my beef chow fun without it.
I wanna go back in time and slap the person in the face who invented bean sprouts.. lol
A 10! Well my heavens, I will haft to eat there next time I am in Vegas. Without beansprouts.
Lots Bean Sprouts on my Big Mac. No Keptchup Please.
Thanks Bro

Drooling over that shrimp. Unfortunately I developed an allergy in mid life. GREAT story!!! Ha Ha
be sure your vitamin D level is high normal, if not, fix it with costco vitamin D! I was real low and my allergies were killing me, nowadays fixed that with 10,000-20,000 IU a day of vitamin D.

At Beijing Noodle No. 9, do they still have the chef up front making handmade noodles?
