I used to eat at that restaurant every day, ordering the same chili chicken from my favorite spot on the bar. I never make a mistake when ordering. One day, I noticed someone sitting in my spot. No big deal. Sat somewhere else and ordered. When my food came I noticed one piece of chicken was missing. The disappointment was HORRIFIC. I never ate from there again. 😂

I bet that person sitting on your spot was really feeling up on your perfect pencil too.

Another great vid Danny. If you like the pencil (which it seems you do), most golf courses will have them available at the check-in desk. Some (not all) have the eraser too, just kinda depends on the course 😁

Hey Danny! Been noticing the Ultra. Thanks for the update. As an owner of a 7 which I got from a medical research program I’m currently in. I appreciate the rugged Ultra. I’ve had them since the Model Zero. I’ve always gotten the aluminum ones because I’m a cheap bastard and didn’t get the stainless steel one, which does have the sapphire crystal. They all scratch on the buddy and the other glass scratches like crazy. For the 7 I bought a body shield to try not to scratch it.
There’s a TH-cam video by Sam Kohl, AppleTrack, where he intentionally tried to destroy an Ultra to prove the ruggedness. It took 50 massive blows and tried to finally kill the watch but the crystal never shattered. It it tough. I hope it serves you well, enjoy it!
BTW this food looked so much better then the Mandalay Bay place.

So happy to see you enjoy some decent 8.0 rated beef chow fun after the horrible beef jerky chow fun you had at Mandalay. That was the worst-looking and smallest-portioned chow fun I've ever seen.
I tried this place for the first time on my last trip to Vegas, and it was excellent! 😬

Xiao Long Dumplings should add this video to their website! Its on the west side of I15 but pretty close to the strip! I'll add this one to my list for my future Vegas roadtrip! TY DannY! A natural nine!!!
Hi Danny, We never tried this place in Chinatown Plaza. 6-7 years ago there was a Sam Woo cantonese style restaurant by the market on the other side but it later failed ( lack of food quality I think ). The beef chow fun was a good order at the old Sam Woo. Of course, the beef and rice noodles are the reason you come ! Glad to see this place does a good job ! BTW, that was a painful sacrifice for the camera by eating that hot soup dumpling ! Most people should know to be careful by now ! ha ha
This wasn't xld back then. I think the old place and Sam Woo's both closed because of the pandemic.

I just had a thought about the pencil; maybe they just struck a line through their error rather than using the eraser.
I had these at this restaurant as my first introduction to xiaolongbao. Now Im on a mission to find something similar in Oklahoma.

So funny! Carol Burnett told an interviewer once that when she was a youth her mother used to steal the toilet tissue rolls from the restroom of the movie theaters when they went out to see a movie. I think it’s a coastal thing 😂
XLB is a great Chinese restaurant that is well known for dumplings. Glad you had a decent Beef Chow at half the $$$ since you got ripped off at Mandalay Bay.
If you play Bac in Vegas or Atlantic City they always give you tiny pencils hahaha
How does the XLB's compared with Din Tai Fung (Aria) , Shanghai Taste or Wishful Dumpling, or Tim Ho Wan (Palms) ?
I assumed this place is not as pricey and portions looks above average. Sorry to hear about your losses, Sometimes I call Las Vegas as Lost Wages.
this place worth it
You can buy pencils with erasers on both ends. You cut them in half and you have two short pencils, both with erasers. It's cheaper for a customer to steal, I mean accidently walk out with a half pencil than a whole one.

Love bean sprouts and water chestnuts but unfortunately most Asian restaurants now just use diced onions instead, which I hate.
Please clarify your private medic job. When you are called for help how do you get to the job location in a timely manner to be of help? It would seem like if a ambulance needs help it would take you too long to get to the job site. Please help us understand how a private medic job works. We also tried the dumpling place and it was very good overall and cheaper compared to Din Tai Fung.

If u didn’t want ur iwatch to be scratched… don’t go by the glass and metal. I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have a screen protector and a clear case for the watch! It’s inexpensive!
U didn’t have to buy a $800 watch! 🤷🏻♀️ Unless there was something specific the Ultra has that the basic 8 series doesn’t, but still. Just put a screen protector and a clear rubber case. Save urself some money. 🤷🏻♀️ Just saying. 😊

I don't know how you can drink the Vegas tap water. That is the nastiest water I've ever drank. Even the fountain drinks taste nasty because they use the tap water.
you just get used to it. I used to feel the same way, but when faced with the hotel vending machine prices, I got used to it real quick...
the pencil. that's a little longer than the standard golf score card pencil.
You will find that size and with erasers 😱 at some golf courses ( mostly Country Clubs I have found).
