Another amazing video!!! The food looked mouthwatering but your description is what makes it over the top. And of course I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize your humour along the way….”decomposing teeth hitting the table” I’m still laughing. It’s great that you and your partner are both speaking you have lovely soothing voices!!!
Thanks so much! 😊, Sandy. We always debate about some of the jokes we slip in...worrying how people are going to react. So, glad to hear you like them, 😁😁.
That orange chicken looks legit good
Very very sweet, but otherwise very good, yes!
Good morning Let's Eat Vegas! Enjoyed this review. I love the close up shots of the dishes. Looks like lots of wok hei in this food. Thanks for sharing. Karla in Cali.
Yes! Obviously a very capable chef with wok hei skills! The food was delicious. And, funny you should mention that term as we are discussing this in a review we're working on right now! Good timing, 😁😁
I love your commentary! Your voice is very comforting. This southwest area of Vegas is really starting to pop with Asian cuisine and is considered the second Chinatown.
Thank you so much! Yes, it's becoming a really great area for Asian food. We have another video coming out in a few weeks about another wonderful Chinese place in that same pocket. Thanks for watching!
Do you know what is considered the north/south border for Las Vegas?
"Considered"? No
🤔 You have me curious about the north/south border. What do you think for that?
@@LetsEatVegas I don't live in Las Vegas, but always go to Chinatown, when we visit. Is that considered southwest. There must be a realtor or someone who knows.
Mongolian Beef & Orange Chicken for dayyyyys!
Yumm!! Especially the Mongolian Beef. It was exceptional, 😋😋
Another great review. The problem with all of these great places in Las Vegas is time. We used to travel through often between our homes in Reno and Phoenix and would spend a day or two each direction. But since we sold up in AZ. I do not think we have been in 10 years. But I keep telling my husband we need to fly down for a few days to eat. But how does one pick, such a dilemma to have LOL. Again, great review, well presented.
Oh, sorry to hear it's been so long since you've come to Vegas. You should definitely visit again...so much has changed here in the last decade! Thanks for watching.
excellent video
Thank you very much!
Amazing 💕💕. Great information and review!
Thank you for watching and commenting...AND being our first VIP Member, 😁😁
Another great video as always taste was my fave in vegas
Thank you! Yes, really enjoyed the food there, 😋
My uncle who only speaks Cantonese swears by this place
Your uncle knows his food! Taste was terrific, 😋😋
Omg great dishes.. Is it on spring Mountin?
No, it's on South Rainbow: 7945 S Rainbow Blvd suite b, Las Vegas, NV 89139
Thanks for watching!
We've been here .. latter part of 2020. Food was just so so. Need to give them another go. Once again, thanks for showcasing the dishes. 👍
Sorry to hear that. I'm wondering if you went soon after the lockdown ended. I know a lot of places, after being closed for a long time, were out of practice and the food wasn't so great when they first reopened. Well, I would give Taste another try!
Hi food looks wonderful. Can you please let Danny the Medic know what kind of fish is in the fried at China Mama tu
Hmmm, not sure what you mean about Danny and the fish at China Mama 2. Can you elaborate?
@@LetsEatVegasHe's a you tuber, who recently moved to Vegas, after visiting often. He went to China Mama recently.
I see. Thanks for the info! Did Danny say something odd about the fish at China Mama 2?
@@LetsEatVegasHe didn't know what kind of fish it was. The receipt said, Sliced fish filet with black bean sauce. He called it something in Chinese, which he felt was similar to some fish he had at a restaurant in New York.
Hmmm, very interesting. We simply ask the manager about these types of things so as to provide you all with the correct information.
can you taste MSG?
Yes, absolutely!
only the crispy noodle dish looks good by my L.A. standards.
my pet peeve with chinese restaurants is they all use too much onion and bell peppers in their meat dishes, makes them look cheap.
As a chef who spent 40+ years in LA I'm finding the restaurants here in Vegas to be every bit as good if not better than those in LA. As for the onion and pepper issue, yes, I've been seeing much more of those in the dishes lately. I believe this is in an attempt to keep prices the same while food costs are greatly increasing!. However, I thought this was not the case at the restaurant reviewed here, Taste. The onions and peppers were exactly the amount needed to properly flavor the dish. Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁
