1:03:57 Trump could easily survive that turn playing armor smith (maybe ghostly strike own minion for 1 armor) + anti magic + 2 rune orbs and forcing the enemy to trade into the 3/5 taunt with 4/12 and 1/1 going to 9hp 3 armor and then down to 2 hp left after 9/9 and hero power. Of course 2 hp is nothing a mage couldn't deal with the 2 cards they had in hand but it was at least a chance for a way out with potential stabilization from armor smith
its honestly the only reason why I sometimes dislike watching Trump, its funny most of the time but when you consider he has been playing for 10 years and still ropes into easy lethals / misses his chance to not die its disappointing really
Having a tech that is only ever good against exactly one class is not a good idea Stuff like more removal that doesnt actually kill, like psychic scream or life sentence, is a better way to loosely tech against corpses
@@Vincentoist Well... I remember there being the exact same argument about the possibility of "Anti-armour" tech card. How "It only counters 1 class" and what not... Yet we did end up getting Platebreaker (As well as Druid evolving into Warrior and getting a bunch of Armour cards) An anti-corpse card would be similar to Platebreaker. Having one primary class it counters, while technically working against any class that might randomly generate certain cards. Also, an anti-corpse card could also end up being similar to Skulking Geist which was created specifically to hard counter a single deck and has niche use elsewhere.
Edit: guess ian was faster than me Ghostly Strike Pelegos so it becomes a 3/3 -> Naga into Double Bloodlust. With the 2 additional damage on Pelegos it's lethal. And as Chat told Trump you don't have to combo Ghostly Strike, major of value town just thought "Hey it's a combo card so we have to combo it"
That paladin taking a casual 15 damage to clear that minion with his weapon is my hero

Maybe like destroy 5 corpses? Destroying all is way too disruptive and targeted at a single class.

He didn't, only had 29 damage (but could've potentially found something from Jackpot)
