Stopped playing hearthstone at the end of last year, but these videos from trump are always worth a watch.
25:20 Attack the 5/5 then heal for 5.. why not skip the middleman and just kill the 5/5 with the spell?
If only drafting lategame worked this well for me...
I just drafted a super defensive Shaman deck - Drakkari Defenders, 3 Rain of toads, a lightning storm, 2 Volcanoes, Stonehill, primordial drake, and a lotta big cards. The last 5 arena runs I had died to super aggressive decks, so i made this deck to counter that. First match is against a Priest who's also drafted multiple board clears, and has 3 mind controls.

I tried to fatigue him, but when he was down to 1 card left he had a full board. I still had one Volcano left in my 3-card deck, and he was pretty close to death too... but I topdecked double wartbringer... *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
Edit: I just ran into ANOTHER priest who had 3 Amani war bears, a couple mind controls, and 3 free from ambers. What the actual fuck.
Edit 2: Well I finally went up against something that wasn't priest - a Mage. Was winning this one by quite bit but they got Pyrosblast from Arcane Dynamo twice and I had no healing. I just went 0-3 with this deck. What the actual fuck. I usually get 4-5 wins per run... Now I know how Kripp feels...

DAMNNNN THE OPPONENTS 200IQ PLAY @7:45 WAS BRILLIANT! What a beautiful combo that most players wouldn't see if they were looking at those cards for 5 minutes. That was a MASSIVE tempo swing for an arena game (hell even a standard constructed game).
Also.... Trumps follow up was straight trash. Lose a 2-5 in order to save a fucking 1-1?!?!? Wtf were you thinking Trump you're playing a mage who hadn't used a aoe spell yet and you out your 2-5 in flamestrike range to save a 1-1 that would have made a great trade? Sometimes I really think he's getting worse and worse at this game the longer he plays lol

Still it was so painful to watch.
He would have deserve to lose that match. By making that one misplay he limited himself to different plays which led to a chain reaction (Like using the tar creeper, which took 1 damage which then died to Argent Commander). He super deserved to lose.
Is three 7 drops and an 8 drop really that much lategame?
Thanks to hearthstone's designers you're usually dead by turn 4, making the 7 five drops and 2 six drops also qualify as 'late game cards'.

Jeffrey Davis LF stands for Lightforge and they have a diferent rating sistem than HearthArena
