I will never forget the day I woke up turn on the news and find out that Dean had passed away. The world had lost a great entertainer and a great human being. Funny, resourceful, witty, warm hearted and so many other qualities. Never tired to watch his work and I am happy to see that thousands of his fans feel the same way I do. He will live for ever in our hearts and minds.

These were the best days of television. Dean was an amazing talent! He had style,grace,his voice was like fine wine,no one can touch it! He looked right into the camera and made u feel like he was your best friend! He was a comedic genius and such a kind human being. I was in my teens when i first saw the Dean Martin show, I only begin to appreciate him when I found his shows on you tube, and can't stop watching them, love especially comedy part which is sa funny.
This is the ultimate and best entertainment years. It 🎉😂❤😊 makes me feel so 😂. Just looking 😊 at their faces, one can feel their strong friendship & personal enjoyment of the moment. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall 😊.
Luckily, fun times with my childhood girlfriends included travels, married couples fun, and happily raising our families. We are now 85 years to 88 years old, 3 of 4 are widows, 2 of us have lost children, 1 has dementia, and we 😊 have made it through it all with our support of each other. We still enjoy life, and we all can instantly laugh hysterically at a memory we share.😅

I wasn’t even born when this show aired… looking however , of all the variety shows past & present, this show is so wonderful, by far most amazing people that ever lived made their appearances and Dean , beautiful, witty so entertaining.
These are the type of times and people that would and could never be replicated. Dean was truly a legend
Dino is the best Crooner Ever! I had never seen Lanie Kazan when she was young. Wow! This is something that is greatly missing today. Entertainers. And one the whole family can watch. I am thankful that I grew up with these shows on tv.

Dean was one of the most talented and versatile people in show biz. He could sing with anyone, act with anyone, do comedy or drama, Always under rated as an actor ( in powerful dramatic performances) He had a natural, God given talent to make people smile. That was his greatest gift. Loved him and unfortunately, he gone, but we have these wonderful videos of him to keep him in our hearts.

He was only there for a few hours for each taping. He frequently left after he'd taped whatever was needed, including the end of the show. After that, the guests would do whatever they needed to do.

Just watching tonight Dean was truly a one of a kind. It made my laugh and smile this is when tv was actually called entertainment and comedy was actually that.

What most astonishes me watching these clips is realizing that, with just three networks, remarkable entertainment like this was coming into our homes every night - the weekly variety shows like Dean Martin, Carol Burnett, Sonny and Cher, and Flip Wilson; the revue shows like Ed Sullivan, Kraft Music Hall, and Hollywood Palace; the youth shows like Bandstand, Soul Train, and Midnight Special; the one off specials featuring every great performer of the era. It really was a golden age of entertainment, but we just didn’t realize it.
